WAITING FOR THE EVENING …CONCERTS AT THE SUNSET – CAGLIARI – EXMA’ – THURSDAY AUGUST 23

Waiting for the evening concerts at the Sunset … – Konfusion for the third round Thursday, August 23 proposes “Duos” a special project, exciting and evocative.

“Duos” and ‘the new project of two musicians well known in the international jazz scene: the jazz singer and theater director Filomena Campus and guitarist George Serci. Sardinian origin, living in London, where he collaborated for several years. They present a concert-show in which original songs, with music and lyrics by Serci Campus, recall atmsfere Mediterranean, creating the context for moments of free improvisation and theatrical interludes in which Filomena Campus interprets poetry by authors such as Jack Hirschman, Stefano Benni and Mary Charter. The repertoire also includes some arrangements of songs by Brazilian masters like Egberto Gismonti, and Chico Buarque Hemeto Pascoal.

The exhibition includes sculptures in marble mainly medium and large size, belonging to different moments of the production of Anna Saba: some were made specifically for the show, others take on a new life and additional value in this specific context.
The exhibition aims to bring the artistic beauty of the blind and visually impaired. Visitors can experience all the works on display, through a process that aims to break down barriers to physical and emotional
