VISIT TO THE MINE SANTA BARBARA/MONTEPONI WITH HISTORIC STEAM TRAIN – SUNDAY OCTOBER 21
The association Sarda Historical Train “Sardegnavapore” organized for Sunday, October 21, 2012 visit to the mine of Santa Barbara or Monteponi departing from and arriving in Cagliari Iglesias and back.
The departure is scheduled at 08.30 from the railway station of Cagliari.
From Iglesias will be possible to reach the historic mining village of Monteponi. The mining site was one of the most important mining sites of Sardinia, which had dominated the mining of lead and silver.
