Proiezione cinematografica al Teatro Civico di Castello, domenica 1 settembre alle ore 21.00

Domenica 1 settembre, alle ore 21.00, presso il Teatro Civico in Castello, continuano gli appuntamenti della rassegna cinematografica, organizzata in collaborazione con la Società Umanitaria – Cineteca Sarda di Cagliari, dedicata al tema della Città.
Questa settimana Manatthan, uno dei capolavori di Woody Allen, con con Michael Murphy, Diane Keaton, Woody Allen e Meryl Streep. Il film racconta alcuni episodi sentimentali della vita di uno scrittore televisivo di New York la cui ultima moglie (Streep) l’ha abbandonato per una donna. In questo poema d’amore per una Manhattan interiorizzata e sognata, calata nel
sublime bianconero di Gordon Willis o accarezzata dalle canzoni di George Gershwin, più che la vicenda contano i personaggi e il tono con cui sono raccontati.
La rassegna, che prevede la proiezione di nuove pellicole, fino al 22 settembre, è ispirata al tema della città declinata, nei diversi film, alla vita dei centri storici a cui fa riferimento la posizione del Teatro Civico nel cuore di Castello. Prima del film, alle 20.30 sarà possibile seguire la visita guidata alla mostra, condotta dagli storici dell’arte dell’Associazione Orientare.

Film screening at the Teatro Civico di Castello, Sunday 1 September at 21.00

Sunday, September 1, at 21:00, at the Civic Theatre in the Castle, continue the appointments of the film festival, organized in collaboration with the Humane Society – Film Archive Sarda Cagliari, dedicated to the theme of the City.
This week Manatthan, one of the masterpieces of Woody Allen, with Michael Murphy, Diane Keaton, Woody Allen and Meryl Streep. The film tells a few episodes of the sentimental life of a television writer in New York whose last wife (Streep) has left him for a woman. In this poem of love for a Manhattan internalized and dreamed, declined in the
sublime black and white by Gordon Willis or caressed by the songs of George Gershwin, more than the story count the characters and the tone in which they are told.
The exhibition, which includes the screening of new films, until September 22, is inspired by the theme of the city declined in several films, the life of the historical centers that are referenced by the position of the Civic Theatre in the heart of Castle. Before the film, at 20.30 you can follow a guided tour of the exhibition, conducted by art historians of the Association Orient.
