Visita nelle antiche miniere di S’Arcilloni, Tacconis e Nicola Secci, facenti parte del famoso “Filone argentifero del Sarrabus”. La visita si snoda lungo l’antica STRADA MINERARIA costruita nella seconda metà dell’Ottocento al servizio delle miniere argentifere.

L’escursione è lunga circa 11 km (in tutto), non è impegnativa e si snoda per il 50% lungo viabilità campestre e per il resto sull’antica mulattiera, parallela al Rio Ollastu.
Il dislivello è minimo.
Sono previste soste nei siti minerari, con l’indicazione degli elementi geologici, storico-minerari e mineralogici; a Nicola Secci è prevista l’esplorazione di una breve ma interessante galleria.
E’ Indispensabile abbigliamento da trekking, pranzo al sacco, acqua, calzature adatte e torcia. Si viaggerà con auto proprie. Partenza da Cagliari alle 8,30 dinanzi all’hotel Sardegna, rientro per le ore 18,30 (circa). Altro appuntamento lungo la ex SS125, all’incrocio di Monte Acuto per le ore 9,50 circa. La strada da percorrere in macchina è buona ma non risulta idonea per veicoli bassi.
L’escursione è adatta ai bambini, graditi i cani.
L’itinerario sarà: Cagliari, nuova SS125, uscita in prossimità di San Priamo, quindi lungo la ex SS125 fino all’incrocio di Monte Acuto (circa 50 km).

The hike is about 11 km long (at all), is not binding and leads to 50% along country roads and the rest on the old trail, parallel to the Rio Ollastu.
The height difference is minimal.
There are stops at mining sites, with an indication of the geological, historical mining and mineralogy; Nicola Secci is provided for the exploration of a short but interesting gallery.
It ‘Essential Trekking gear, lunch, water, appropriate footwear and a torch. You will travel with their own car. From Cagliari Sardinia front of the hotel at 8:30 am, return to the 18.30 (approximately). Another event along the former SS125, at the intersection of Monte Acuto for about 9.50 hours. The way to go in the car is good but not suitable for low cars.
The tour is family friendly, dogs welcome.
