UNA SECONDA VITA AI LIBRI USATI DA FELTRINELLIA SECOND LIFE FOR USED BOOKS FROM FELTRINELLI

Da oggi e per tutto il weekend, portando un libro usato in uno dei punti vendita della catena si riceve in cambio un buono di 5 euro. I libri raccolti verranno donati alla Fondazione IntegrA/Azione o riciclati da Comieco

È partita oggi e durerà per tutto il weekend un’iniziativa promossa da Librerie Feltrinelli. Portando in uno dei punti vendita un libro usato, in buone condizioni, si riceve in cambio un buono di 5 euro spendibile in una qualsiasi delle librerie della catena tra il 12 e il 18 aprile a fronte di un acquisto di almeno 20 euro. I libri usati così raccolti verranno donati alla Fondazione IntegrA/Azione e utilizzati per progetti di alfabetizzazione e corsi di lingua italiana per stranieri. Oppure verranno riciclati grazie alla collaborazione di Comieco (Consorzio Nazionale Recupero e Riciclo degli Imballaggi a base Cellulosica).

NUOVI UTILIZZI PER I NOSTRI LIBRI – L’iniziativa parte da una considerazione. Le nostre case sono piene di libri che amiamo, di cui non potremmo fare a meno, che vogliamo rileggere o donare ai figli, oppure che consultiamo continuamente per lavoro o studio. Ma tra questi sugli scaffali ci sono anche libri che non ci sono piaciuti, magari regali non azzeccati, che non consideriamo fondamentali e che non fanno altro che prendere polvere. Questi volumi  tuttavia potrebbero avere nuova vita e risultare utili per altri, che magari non possono permettersi di acquistarli in libreria. Oppure se ne può fare un utilizzo a favore dell’ambiente.

UN PROGETTO A FAVORE DEGLI STRANIERI – Ecco da dove nasce la collaborazione con la Fondazione IntegrA/Azione, cui verranno donati i libri appartenenti a letteratura, saggistica, scolastica e testi didattici, corsi di lingue, enciclopedie, dizionari, compresi testi in lingue straniere. La Fondazione catalogherà e distribuirà i volumi raccolti all’interno dei centri dell’immigrazione del Ministero dell’Interno, nello specifico i Centri di Accoglienza per Richiedenti Asilo (Cara) dove verranno utilizzati nelle scuole di italiano L2, oltre a essere a disposizione in piccole strutture bibliotecarie dove gli ospiti del centro potranno prendere i volumi in prestito o leggerli sul posto. Ma anche ai libri appartenenti a generi diversi da quelli indicati sarà data comunque una possibilità di rinascita: in collaborazione con Comieco verranno infatti avviati a riciclo per poter rientrare nelle nostre case sotto forma di nuovi oggetti in carta riciclata.

CONDIZIONI DI UTILIZZO DEL BUONO – È possibile portare non più di un libro al giorno per ogni giorno della promozione. Può trattarsi di libri di ogni genere, purché integri ed in buono stato. Non sono accettati libri senza copertina, con pagine strappate o parti di libro. Il BUONO deve risultare integro e in originale. E’ fruibile su tutte le merceologie ma non può essere utilizzato per l’acquisto di ricariche telefoniche e altri prodotti da attivare con PIN.

It started today and will last all weekend promoted by Feltrinelli Bookshops. Bringing in one of the stores a used book in good condition, you will receive in exchange a voucher of 5 € expendable in any of the libraries in the chain between the 12 and 18 April in respect of a purchase of at least 20 €. Used books thus collected will be donated to the Foundation IntegrA / Action and used for literacy projects and Italian language courses for foreigners. Or will be recycled with the help of Comieco (National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of cellulose packaging).

NEW USES FOR OUR BOOKS – The initiative begins with a consideration. Our homes are full of books we love, that we could not do without, we want to read or to their children, or that we consult constantly for work or study. But among these there are also books on the shelves that we liked, maybe not spot on gifts, we do not consider essential and which do little more than gather dust. These volumes, however, may have new life and be useful to others who maybe can not afford to buy them at the bookstore. Or they can be put to use for the environment.

A PROJECT FOR FOREIGNERS – Here is where does the collaboration with the Foundation IntegrA / Action, which will be donated books belonging to literature, nonfiction, and school textbooks, language courses, encyclopedias, dictionaries, including texts in foreign languages. The Foundation will catalog and distribute the volumes collected in the centers of the Ministry of immigration, specifically the Reception Centres for Asylum Seekers (Cara) which will be used in the schools of Italian L2, as well as being available in small library facilities of the center where guests can take in loan volumes or read them on the spot. But the books belonging to genera other than those listed will be given, however, a possibility of rebirth in collaboration with Comieco will in fact be sent for recycling in order to come into our homes in the form of new items from recycled paper.

CONDITIONS OF USE COUPON – You can not carry more than one book per day for each day of the promotion. It can be all kinds of books, provided intact and in good condition. Books are not accepted without a cover, with torn pages or parts of the book. The GOOD must be intact and in original. E ‘usable on all product but can not be used for the purchase of phone cards and other products to be activated by PIN.
