L’associazione Sucania, l’ ONG OSVIC e la coop MAIA sono liete di invitarti al tour Sardegna di “Tutti nello stesso Piatto”, il festival di Cinema Cibo e Video Diversità promosso dal consorzio Altromercato e dalla coop Mandacarù.

La rassegna si sposta da sud a nord della Sardegna attraverso 16 appuntamenti tra film e cortometraggi; sarà un’occasione di incontro con il cinema e la cultura di Europa, Asia, Africa e America Latina, per approfondire i temi del cibo, della biodiversità, della sovranità alimentare, dell’ambiente e dello sviluppo sostenibile attraverso la conoscenza dei loro cineasti e dei loro protagonisti.

Si parte da Cagliari l’8 aprile con “A River Change Course” il film che è stato anche vincitore del Festival Internazionale 2013 organizzato dalla cooperativa Mandacarù di Trento e di altri premi internazionali.
Il film è ambientato in Cambogia e ha come protagonisti tre ragazzi. Nucleo centrale è il ruolo che il fiume Tonle Sap ha avuto nella loro vite.

Dopo il film seguirà un dibattito con gli interventi di Antonello Zanda direttore della Società Umanitaria e Prof Giovanni Sistu della Facoltà di Scienze Economiche, Giuridiche e Politiche di Cagliari.

Sinossi di “A River Change Course”

Il Tonle Sap River attraversa la vita, nutrendola. Lungo il corso di questo grande fiume che scorre nel centro della Cambogia si sono sviluppati interi villaggi che vivono di agricoltura, pesca e piccolo commercio. E per i tre ragazzi protagonisti di questo film, il fiume è stato il sostentamento, lo scenario di molte avventure, il destino scritto nell’acqua. Fino a che non è cambiato tutto. Intenso e solenne come lo scorrere del Tonle Sap, il documentario di Kalyanee Mam segue per due anni le vite dei tre ragazzi mentre nel loro ecosistema millenario fanno irruzione il commercio selvaggio, lo sfruttamento intensivo della fauna ittica, la violenza che devia il percorso di quelle acque per scopi industriali e agricoli. E su quelle onde si trova in bilico la storia intera.

The exhibition moves from south to north of Sardinia through 16 events including films and shorts ; will be an opportunity to meet with the cinema and the culture of Europe , Asia, Africa and Latin America, to explore the themes of food , biodiversity , food sovereignty , the environment and sustainable development through knowledge of their directors and of their protagonists .

It starts from Cagliari on April 8 with ” A River Change Course” the film that was also the winner of the International Festival 2013 organized by the cooperative Mandacarù of Trento and other international awards .
The film is set in Cambodia and has as its protagonists three boys. The central core is the role that the Tonle Sap River has had on their lives.

After the film followed by a discussion with the interventions of Antonello Zanda director of the Humane Society and Prof John Sistu of the Faculty of Economics, Law and Politics of Cagliari.

Synopsis of “A River Change Course”

The Tonle Sap River runs through the life, nourishing. Along the course of this great river that runs through the heart of Cambodia have developed entire villages live on agriculture, fishing and small trade. And for the three boys star in this film, the river was the sustenance, the scene of many adventures, destiny written in the water. Until it has changed everything. Intense and solemn as the flow of the Tonle Sap, the documentary follows Kalyanee Mam for two years while the lives of the three boys in their ecosystem millennial raid the trade wild, depletion of fish stocks, the violence that deflects the path of those water for industrial and agricultural purposes. And on those waves is poised the whole story.
