COLPI DI FULMINE
Un film che affronta in chiave di commedia il tema dell’amore a prima vista. Nella prima parte uno psichiatra finisce per errore nel mirino del fisco. Temendo di finire in galera prima di riuscire a chiarire la sua posizione, si traveste da prete e si rifugia in un paesino del Trentino, dove si spaccia per il nuovo parroco della piccola comunità. Benché digiuno di pratiche religiose, grazie alla sua esperienza professionale riesce a entrare in sintonia con i parrocchiani. La situazione si complica quando si innamora a prima vista di una bellissima donna. Per entrambi è un amore inconfessabile: per lei perché lo crede un vero prete, per lui perché sa di essere un finto prete. Da qui una serie di comiche situazioni che ci condurranno ad un finale a sorpresa. La seconda parte del film si svolge a roma ed ha per protagonista l’ambasciatore italiano presso la santa sede. Il diplomatico, come vuole il suo ruolo, è forbito nell’eloquio e impeccabile nei modi. Ma, per la legge del contrappasso, perde la testa per una pescivendola che parla solo in romanesco e ha i modi grossolani di una popolana verace. la donna detesta i formalismi e così, per poter scendere alla sua altezza, l’ambasciatore, con l’aiuto del proprio autista, decide di trasformarsi in un vero coatto. La messa in scena corre sempre sul filo del rasoio. L’ambasciatore e il suo autista dovranno fare i salti mortali per risolvere quella situazione impossibile…

IL PEGGIOR NATALE DELLA MIA VITA

A tre giorni dal Natale, Giorgio (Antonio Catania), sua moglie Clara (Anna Bonaiuto) e la loro figlia Margherita (Cristiana Capotondi) sono stati invitati a passare le vacanze nel castello di Alberto (Diego Abatantuono), mentre Paolo (Fabio De Luigi), il marito di Margherita li raggiungerà in un secondo momento. Il castello è un piccolo gioiello tra le pendici innevate del Monte Rosa che Alberto ha acquistato di recente, dopo essere scampato a una malattia per cui tutti lo davano per spacciato. La vita, per lui, è diventata ora una nuova, meravigliosa avventura; pensa di lasciare a Giorgio, già suo vice, il comando dell’azienda. Giorgio è molto teso, sia per la promozione “amicale”, che per l’imminente arrivo di Paolo. Margherita è al nono mese di gravidanza e ha deciso di partorire in acqua: manca ancora qualche settimana alla data prevista, ma ha comunque obbligato Paolo a ritirare una piscina portatile da usare in caso di necessità. Al castello c’è anche la figlia di Alberto, Benedetta (Laura Chiatti), anche lei incinta e amica di vecchia data di Margherita, anche se tra le due, che hanno fatto scelte di vita radicalmente diverse, il rapporto non è molto disteso. Il povero Paolo, che nemmeno il Natale riesce a rendere meno inopportuno, combina un disastro dopo l’altro, accanendosi, suo malgrado, proprio su Alberto e il suo castello

THE GREY

L’aereo su cui viaggia un gruppo di lavoratori di un oleodotto precipita in una zona sperduta dell’Alaska. I pochi sopravvissuti, tra i quali il protagonista Ottway, si ritrovano a dover lottare non solo contro la rigidità del clima e un ambiente a loro ostile, ma soprattutto contro un branco di famelici lupi. Le forze e le risorse a loro disposizione si esauriscono in fretta e i superstiti, con a capo Ottway, decidono di abbandonare il luogo dello schianto per cercare di salvare le loro vite, intraprendendo un viaggio attraverso l’infinita distesa di neve e ghiaccio dell’estremo nord che si rivelerà una frenetica lotta contro il tempo, la natura selvaggia, braccati dai più spietati abitanti di quelle terre desolate.

LO HOBBIT – UN VIAGGIO INASPETTATO (3D)
Dal regista vincitore premio Oscar® Peter Jackson, arriva“Lo Hobbit: Un viaggio inaspettato”, il primo episodio tratto dal capolavoro di tutti i tempi di J.R.R. Tolkien, Lo Hobbit.

I tre film sono ambientati nella Terra di Mezzo, sessant’anni prima de “Il signore degli anelli”, già adattato per il grande schermo da Jackson e dalla sua squadra nella trilogia culminata con un Oscar® per l’episodio “Il signore degli anelli: Il ritorno del re”.

La storia racconta il viaggio del protagonista Bilbo Baggins, coinvolto in un’epica ricerca per reclamare il Regno dei Nani di Erebor governato dal terribile drago Smaug. Avvicinato dal mago Gandalf il Grigio, Bilbo si ritrova al seguito di tredici nani capeggiati dal leggendario guerriero Thorin Scudodiquercia. Il viaggio li conduce per terre piene di pericoli e avventure, abitate da Goblin e Orchi e implacabili Wargs.

La loro meta principale è raggiungere l’Est e le aride terre della Montagna Solitaria, ma prima dovranno sottrarsi ai tunnel dei Goblin, dove Bilbo incontra una creatura che gli cambierà la vita per sempre… Gollum.

Qui, da solo con Gollum, sulle rive di un lago sotterraneo, l’ignaro Bilbo Baggins non solo si scoprirà così ingenuo e coraggioso al punto da sorprendere persino se stesso, ma riuscirà a impossessarsi del “prezioso” anello di Gollum che possiede qualità inaspettate ed utili… un semplice anello d’oro, legato alle sorti della Terra di Mezzo in modo così stretto che Bilbo non può neanche immaginare.

L’HFR (high frame rate) 3D è un formato Digital 3D con un frame rate più alto dello standard cinematografico. HFR riduce al massimo i difetti delle ripresa in 3d esaltando invece la nitidezza dell’immagine

LA REGOLA DEL SILENZIO
Jim Grant è un tranquillo avvocato e padre single che si trova costretto a fuggire quando un giovane e impetuoso reporter Ben Shepard, rivela la sua vera identità di ricercato: negli anni ’70 Grant era un pacifista radicale e sulla sua testa pende l’accusa di omicidio. Il film racconta la storia dell’amicizia tra Ernest, un orso che sogna di diventare musicista, e Celestine, una topolina che da grande non vuole fare la dentista

I DUE SOLITI IDIOTI
In questo sequel, ritroviamo Ruggero e il figlio Gianluca in fuga dalla gang dei Russi. Ma in questo anno tante cose sono cambiate e la crisi si è abbattuta anche sull’impero del Wurstel. Per salvarlo, Ruggero è disposto a tutto, anche a ricorrere all’aiuto del padre di Fabiana, un uomo rigoroso e austero. Amnesie, imbrogli e sotterfugi saranno solo alcuni degli ingredienti di quella che si preannuncia come una rocambolesca epopea: riuscirà Ruggero a salvare il suo impero, scappare dai Russi e soprattutto salvarsi dalla temibile scure dell’erario? Accanto ai protagonisti principali della storia, appaiono una lunga serie di altri strani personaggi: i ragazzi coatti milanesi, Patrick e Alexio, già diventati il nuovo tormentone, i bambini di “Mamma esco”, Niccolo e Gigetto, i preti marketing e altri totalmente nuovi, creati appositamente per il film.

RALPH SPACCATUTTO
Il film racconta la storia di un celebre personaggio dei videogame del passato che si trova a dover affrontare i nuovi e supertecnologici videogiochi moderni. Ralph è stanco di essere messo in ombra da Fix-It Felix, il “bravo ragazzo” campione nel loro gioco dove ogni volta finisce per salvare la situazione. Ma dopo decenni trascorsi guardando Felix ricevere tutta la gloria, Ralph decide che è arrivato il momento di smettere di interpretare il ruolo del cattivo. Così, prende in mano la situazione e inizia un viaggio attraverso i giochi arcade, passando per ogni generazione di videogame per dimostrare di avere tutte le carte in regola per essere un eroe. Durante la sua ricerca, incontra il duro Sergente Calhoun, dallo sparatutto in prima persona Hero’s Duty. Sammy e Ray si stanno godendo l’acqua e la sabbia di un atollo, mentre guidano i neonati Ricky e Ella verso il mare. Perché Cetto La Qualunque, Rodolfo Favaretto e Frengo Stoppato finiscono in carcere? E, soprattutto, perché riescono a uscirne? Qual è il destino che li unisce? C’è qualcuno che trama nell’ombra? Rodolfo Favaretto, che rincorre il sogno secessionista di un nordista estremo, e che per vivere e combattere la crisi commercia in migranti clandestini. Frengo Stoppato, un uomo stupefacente, in tutti i sensi, che torna dal suo buen retiro incastrato da una madre ingombrante, con un sogno semplice semplice: riformare la chiesa e guadagnarsi la beatitudine. Un ritratto folle ma non troppo dell’Italia di questi anni, in una girandola di situazioni paradossali e travolgenti. In realtà, forse, è semplicemente: neorealismo.
