Il percorso attraversa luoghi di interesse naturalistico, archeologico e antropologico. Il sentiero parte dal torrente di Flumini Durci (dove si lasceranno le auto) e salendo da quota 6 metri s.l.m. sino ad arrivare a quota 296 metri s.l.m. lungo un comodo sentiero sterrato percorribile anche in auto, si arriva al primo punto panoramico dal quale si devierà a sinistra lungo il vecchio sentiero che porta sino in cima alla collina. La prima parte di questo sentiero è in lieve pendenza, qui si troverà una deviazione sempre a sinistra e inizierà la parte di sentiero lastricato con forte pendenza che porterà sino al castello.

Arrivati in cima si potrà ammirare un panorama mozzafiato con vista a 360° e visitare il castello di età medievale ancor suggestivo, seppure in rovina, costruito nel XIII Secolo dal Giudicato di Cagliari. Qui ci sarà anche la pausa pranzo dopo una piccola “lezione” di storia sul castello. Dopo la pausa pranzo si inizierà la discesa percorrendo il sentiero lastricato e, facendo il giro alla base del torrione calcareo, lentamente si scenderà verso il torrente.

Lungo il sentiero di rientro (con parti in forte pendenza) si potranno visitare alcune piccole grotte usate nel Neolitico e nel Paleolitico e lungo la strada che porta al torrente si potrà visitare anche “Su Presoni”, una Tomba Ipogea Paleocristiana usata come prigione del castello.

Dopo questa sosta in pochi minuti si arriverà alle proprie auto.

The route passes through places of natural interest, archaeological and anthropological . The trail starts from the stream of Flumini Durci (where you leave the car) and going from an altitude of 6 meters above sea level until arriving at an altitude of 296 meters s.l.m. comfortable walking along a dirt road in your car , you reach the first lookout point from which you can divert to the left along the old path that leads up to the top of the hill. The first part of this trail is gently sloping , here you will find always a detour to the left and begin the portion of the paved trail with steep slopes that lead up to the castle.

At the top you can admire a breathtaking 360 ° view and visit the castle of the Middle Ages still impressive , though in ruins, built in the thirteenth century by the Judge of Cagliari . Here there will be a lunch break after a little ” lesson” of the history of the castle. After lunch we will start the descent along the paved path , going around the base of the limestone tower , slowly descend towards the stream .

Along the path of return ( with steeply sloping sides ) , you can visit some small caves used during the Neolithic and Paleolithic and along the road that leads to the creek you can also visit ” On Presoni ” , an early Christian tomb Ipogea used as a prison of the castle .

After this stop in a few minutes you will come to your car .
