Mancano dalla Sardegna da oltre due anni, ora tornano per presentare il loro ultimo album Nel Giardino dei Fantasmi, uscito lo scorso dicembre per La Tempesta dischi. I TRE ALLEGRI RAGAZZI MORTI saranno domenica 24 febbraio 2013 all’FBI Club di Quartu alle ore 21:00 per un concerto attesissimo dai loro fan isolani organizzato da Kuntra con la collaborazione dell’FBI Club.

Nel giardino dei fantasmi segna il ritorno discografico di  Tre allegri ragazzi morti. È il settimo album ufficiale della band di Pordenone e segue il fortunato  Primitivi del futuro del 2010. Dove sarà approdato il sound del trio dopo la virata reggae-dub del precedente lavoro? La risposta è distribuita in undici nuove canzoni. A detta degli stessi “allegri ragazzi morti”, continua il viaggio dentro la musica. Il produttore Paolo Baldini ha infatti organizzato un orizzonte sonoro inedito per il trio. È un disco  folk, o  etnico, così lo definiscono i ragazzi morti stessi. Un disco etnico, ma di un’etnia immaginaria. Il risultato si avvicina in qualche modo alla ritmica dei  Violent Femmes (il loro celebre primo album è stato uno dei riferimenti di partenza), ma anche ad un certo tipo di  Fela Kuti. I segreti dello Space Echo si fondono con le chitarre naïf di Toffolo, le architetture della musica caraibica si vestono con i giri blues imparati ascoltando innumerevoli dischi africani. Inevitabile l’influenza di un certo tipo di cantautorato italiano, non associabile alla cosiddetta musica leggera.

In the garden of ghosts marks the comeback of Three merry boys dead. It is the seventh official album of the band of Pordenone and follows the successful future of the Primitives of 2010. Where the sound of the trio will be joined after the turn reggae-dub’s previous work? The answer is distributed in eleven new songs. According to the same “happy dead boys,” continues the journey into music. The producer Paolo Baldini has organized an unusual sound horizon for the trio. It is a hard folk, ethnic or so the kids call it dead themselves. A disc ethnic ethnicity but imaginary. The result approaches in some way to the rhythm of the Violent Femmes (their famous first album was one of the references of departure), but also to a certain type of Fela Kuti.
