THENCE WE CAME FORTH TO SEE THE STARS – SUPRAMONTE TRAIN – BAUNEI – FRIDAY AUGUST 10

For Friday, August 10, the night of San Lorenzo, the train Supramonte organizes, in collaboration with the Association of Astronomy Ogliastrina, the evening event, “And then we went to see the stars …” initiative, which will allow passengers of a tourist train Baunei to enjoy the wonders of the sky, in the fabulous scenery offered from the plateau of Golgo, on the night of the shooting stars.

The program provides for, in addition to a guided tour through the most significant sites of the plateau and a typical dinner of roast pork meat, the observation of the sky with telescopes available from the Astronomical Observatory “F. Caliumi “Lanusei. During the observation, some members of the Association of Astronomy Ogliastrina reveal that passengers on the train Supramonte the mysteries of the starry sky the night of San Lorenzo.

Departure at 17.30 from Baunei

18.00 to 20.30 hours guided tour of the Golgo plateau;

20.30 to 23.00 hrs: dinner;

23.00 to 24.00 hours: observation of the heavens in the company of experienced members of the Association of Astronomy Ogliastrina.
