THE SONG OF SONGS – MEM – CAGLIARI – 20 TO 30 JULY

Love and feelings flow in an imaginary bridge between Lebanon and Sardinia, a journey where emotions blend with the colors of the canvas. The Cultural Association Hermaea Archaeology and Art organizes an exhibition of paintings by Lebanese Rima Jreich titled “The Song of Songs, a bridge between Lebanon and Sardinia.” It will be seen at the MEM, in Via Mameli Media Mediterranean, Cagliari, will begin Friday, July 20th at 18:00 and ends Monday, July 30. After the huge success of the first exhibition, held at the International Fair of Cagliari from April 28 to May 2, l ‘Hermaea, which has already made significant events of national character, he organized a second, keeping the same title, a reinterpretation pictorial the “Song of Songs” of King Solomon and Sardinia Lebanon where they meet in a perfect blend of emotions and feelings.

On display 16 paintings on canvas, acrylic paintings, with impressionist and expressionist painting technique. The works of Rima were exhibited in various galleries in Lebanon. The artist has recently opened his gallery “D’art” in Beirut, where he works, teaches and exhibits her works. She graduated in Beirut in 2005 in “Education through Art” (Education through the Arts) with specialization in “Art Therapy” (Art Therapy).

For Rima art is much more than just a passion is a wonderful therapy that allowed her to work with children traumatized and rendered disabled by the war in Lebanon in 2006. Years of hard work that led to rehab through a noble instrument: the art.
