BRITISH INVASION

La seconda metà degli anni ’60 ha sicuramente prodotto un periodo ricco di eventi importanti destinati a lasciare un segno nei decenni a venire: lÂ’’uomo sulla luna o le battaglie dei movimenti giovanili per lÂ’’uguaglianza sociale.

La musica di quel periodo è stata un capitolo fondamentale nel favorire i cambiamenti che si verificarono a tutti i livelli culturali, uno dei movimenti più importanti della scena musicale mondiale è stato quello denominato “British Invasion” ricco di innovazione e creatività tanto da essere riprodotto fedelmente anche dai musicisti italiani attenti a non rimanere esclusi da questo fenomeno musicale, lÂ’’unico problema erano i testi inglesi troppo arditi per la censura italiana infatti spesso trattavano di argomenti tabù per lÂ’’epoca quindi venivano riscritti ottenendo sovente risultati banali. Vale la pena di risentire questi classici nelle versioni dÂ’’origine così come i loro testi che in molti casi sono delle bellissime poesie.

The second half of the 60s has undoubtedly produced a period full of important events that will leave a mark in the coming decades: the? ‘Man on the moon or the battles of youth movements for?’ Social equality.

The music of that era was an important chapter in bringing about the changes that took place at all levels of education, one of the most important movements of the world music scene has been called? British Invasion? rich in innovation and creativity so as to be faithfully reproduced even by Italian musicians careful not being excluded from this musical phenomenon, l? ‘only problem were the English texts too bold for the Italian censors in fact often dealt with taboo subjects for? ‘era were rewritten so often getting results trivial. It is worth affected versions of these classics? ‘Origin as well as their texts which in many cases are beautiful poems.

Project designed and created by Roberto Deidda who performs with Vittorio Pitzalis on guitar and vocals, Roberto Loi on bass, Mauro Mulas Marcello Mameli on keyboards and drums.
