THE BALLAD OF OLD SAILOR – SINNAI – THURSDAY JULY 19

It will be the Civic Theatre Sinnai, July 19, to host the premiere of “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner”, coredramma inspired the poem by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, the manifesto of English Romanticism. Drifting from the powerful charge of imaginative masterpiece of Coleridge, choreographed by Deborah Fadda and original music by Luca Uggias talk constantly and listening to each other, giving rise to the dramatic structure of the show and goes beyond the traditional didactic approach-merely decorative. The two languages, in fact, perform functions which in the poem are from time to time assigned to individual characters or more purely narrative purposes. The very choice of the presence of the piano at center stage because we want the music to entrust the role of the narrator character, in this case the Ancient Mariner.
