Little Red Riding Hood is perhaps the world’s most popular European fairy tale, the events narrated continue to exert a great fascination for all ages, from children to grandparents.
The protagonists of the story and atmosphere have become part of the collective memory as a repertoire of images and symbols capable of influencing yet, despite the weather.
In the common areas of the T Hotel in Cagliari, the story becomes the protagonist with a rich literature shows curated by Tiziana Roversi, an expert in children’s publishing and illustration, which recounts the true story of Little Red Riding Hood, in a fascinating journey that the first records of the tradition oral reaches to the re-writing of our day. There will be many illustrated editions, some ancient and valuable, together with editions of the story from distant countries, which indicate that the worldwide spread of this story.
The continuing success of Little Red Riding Hood is strengthened by its being constantly reproduced and revisited in different contexts of contemporary culture.
From fashion to design, from photography to painting, the exhibition curated by Marco Peri, plotting and T Art, will learn about the many suggestions that this fairy tale-icon is able to offer in these times.
Artists, designers, illustrators and artisans explore a variety of media themes of the story evoking the atmosphere to rediscover the charm of the story.
