Nuovo appuntamento dedicato alla rassegna culturale ed enogastronomica “Symposia – Itinerari del sapere e del gusto”, che propone un viaggio coinvolgente alla scoperta delle eccellenze territoriali della Sardegna.

Prossima tappa: La Trexenta.

Un territorio immerso in verdi e rigogliose campagne dove l’abbondanza di acqua e delle buone condizioni climatiche hanno sempre permesso una ricca produzione di olio, vino e cereali. Ed è proprio grazie alla fertilità del suo paesaggio che nei secoli diverse popolazioni hanno scelto di abitarla. Numerose sono, infatti, le testimonianze che si perdono nel tempo a partire dalla civiltà pre-nuragica. Il nome è, verosimilmente, legato alla leggenda dei “trecenta oppida”, trecento villaggi fortificati che nei secoli sono divenuti, in larga misura, villaggi scomparsi.

Visiteremo i resti della chiesa romanica di San Bartolomeo, situata in località Sebera, uno degli antichi villaggi scomparsi della zona.

Elemento caratteristico del territorio è sicuramente il grano, ed è proprio su questo nobile cereale che incentreremo il nostro itinerario, visitando il “Museo del Grano”. Allestito ad Ortacesus, nella casa padronale Serra, fu progettato per documentare la tradizione della coltivazione cerealicola della Sardegna e del territorio.
Il museo è organizzato in quattro ambienti interni e due esterni: S’omu de is ainas, s’omu de su stexu de fenu, s’omu de su trobaxu sardu, s’omu de tziu Burranca; nella parte esterna, sa coxinedda e sa domu e sa moba. Non siamo di fronte ad un semplice museo dove vengono esposti gli oggetti della cultura e della tradizione cerealicola, il Museo del Grano è un’istituzione attiva, un luogo di memoria che dialoga con il presente per trasmetterne i valori e i saperi.
Oltre alla visita guidata è prevista un’esperienza diretta nella preparazione del pane con il laboratorio “benei a fai su pani”.

Il programma
ore 9.00 partenza in minibus (8 posti) da Cagliari: Piazza Giovanni XXIII° – lato T-Hotel;
ore 09.45 visita guidata alla chiesa romanica di San Bartolomeo;
ore 10.30 visita guidata al Museo del Grano con laboratorio “benei a fai su pani”;
ore 13.00 pranzo con menù a base di prodotti tipici a km zero;
ore 17.00 ritorno a Cagliari.

An area surrounded by lush, green countryside where the abundance of water and good weather conditions have always allowed a rich production of olive oil, wine and grains. And it is thanks to the fertility of its landscape over the centuries that different populations have chosen to live there . Many are, in fact, the testimonies that are lost in time from pre- civilization nuragica . The name is probably linked to the legend of ” trecenta oppida ,” three hundred fortified villages which over the centuries have become , in large measure , villages disappeared.

We will visit the remains of the Romanesque church of San Bartolomeo , located in the village Sebera , one of the oldest villages in the area have disappeared .

Characteristic feature of the area is definitely the grain, and it is on this that noble corn incentreremo our itinerary , visiting the “Museum of Wheat .” Prepared to Ortacesus , Serra in the main house , was designed to document the tradition of cereal cultivation and the territory of Sardinia .
