SUNSET WEST – PICCOLO AUDITORIUM THEATRE – CAGLIARI – 9 TO 11 NOVEMBER
From Friday 9th to Sunday, November 11, 2012 will be held at Municipal Auditorium in Small Cagliari event “The Decline of the West. Read the crisis in the comparison of literature.” An event organizato the deans of the Book of Sardinia. The event, organized in three days, in four acts is a reflection on the particular historical moment we are going through. To deal with guests from different backgrounds on cultural crisis, thought, and economic alternatives.
Identity on the road. The West saw from elsewhere
Through the voice of writers and writers whose cultural identity is rooted in and out of Italy, told a West compared continuous and tightened with many Elsewhere: to find out if the literature that feeds on other sites shows a West that can be a model economic and cultural to aspire to, or antagonistic system, but also a place that welcomes identity in constant motion and change appearance due to the cultural melting pot.

From the reflection of Pier Paolo Pasolini on the shape of the city, discuss on the topic economists, lawyers, environmentalists, journalists, planners, writers, scholars of aesthetics. The landscape is revealed as a mirror of contemporary and sunset: the urban and remote areas, the land and the land, to defend and live in optical decrease, by rethinking how our social and cultural humus and primeval imprint of the soul through the look.
Companies and individuals in crisis: myths of our time

To finish with a literary metaphor: the art of boxing as a possible survival, also made to be able to dodge, collect, and with a lucidity, disassemble, if we do not like the strategy of the opponent.
