Lontano dallo sfarzo della Costa Smeralda e dalle rade affollate dagli yacht, torna il festival dell’Argentiera: Sulla Terra Leggeri. L’ultimo fine settimana di luglio, da venerdì 26 a domenica 28, le rovine della vecchia miniera ospiteranno giornalisti, scrittori, teatranti e musicisti provenienti da tutta Italia. Una rappresentanza ricca a cui sarà affidato il difficile compito di raccontare, con leggerezza, la nazione in cui viviamo. Gli appuntamenti si svolgeranno tra la piazzetta e la spiaggia del borgo situato ai confini della provincia di Sassari: un luogo silenzioso e stupendo dove gli organizzatori della rassegna letteraria sono stati capaci di calamitare migliaia di persone. Un affetto che cresce con il passare degli anni e che spinge gli ideatori della rassegna a rinnovare il loro impegno. Come da tradizione anche la sesta edizione godrà di un’ampia anteprima. Quest’anno i Comuni che ospiteranno gli incontri di “Aspettando l’Argentiera” saranno Sassari, Alghero, Ploaghe e Porto Torres.

L’organizzazione della sesta edizione del festival, esattamente come quelle precedenti, è stata possibile grazie al sostegno e alla generosità del Comune di Sassari e della Banca di Sassari: due istituzioni che fin dal principio hanno creduto fermamente e profondamente in questa manifestazione.

Gli Ospiti

Il cartellone della sesta edizione vanta nomi illustri, degni rappresentanti delle mille sfumature che caratterizzano il mondo della letteratura. Grande spazio sarà dedicato al giornalismo. Il festival ospiterà Pif, autore della rubrica televisiva Il Testimone; Beppe Severgnini, scrittore e giornalista del Corriere della Sera; il conduttore televisivo Luca Bonaccorsi; il dirigente Rai Fernando Masullo; il cronista de L’Unione Sarda Celestino Tabasso; il corrispondente Rai da Parigi Antonio Di Bella; il conduttore di Caterpillar Massimo Cirri. Lo spazio teatrale sarà affidato alla scrittrice Lella Costa, all’attore Corrado Fortuna e al comico Alessandro Fullin. I momenti musicali saranno curati dai Columella Swing; dal gruppo Saluti da Saturno; dal jazzista Gavino Murgia che si esibirà con i pazienti e gliartisti del Centro Diurno del Dipartimento di Salute Mentale di Sassari; dal cantautore Andrea Appino. Nel calendario della rassegna non mancherà la letteratura. Dialogherà con il pubblico la conduttrice e scrittrice Serena Dandini; la cantante Nada; il finalista del Premio Calvino Marco Porru; gli scrittori Niccolò Ammaniti, Simone Lenzi, Rosella Postorino e Giuseppe Rizzo. I giornalisti sportivi Giorgio Porrà e Darwin Pastorin racconteranno i grandi successi sportivi delle squadre di provincia. Infine il cantautore e scrittore Vinicio Capossela leggerà alcuni passi dal suo ultimo libro.

Aspettando l’Argentiera

Le anteprime del Festival si snoderanno attraverso quattro Comuni della Provincia di Sassari. Si inizia domenica 21 luglio ad Alghero. Il porto della cittadina catalana ospiterà tre momenti diversi: il ritorno al Festival dell’attrice e scrittrice Lella Costa; l’incontro con Eugenio Cossu, Sandro Ruju e Giampiero Cassitta nel quale si parlerà del territorio: dall’Asinara all’Argentiera; il concerto del quintetto romano Columella swing. Mercoledì 24 la rassegna si trasferisce a Sassari. Sul palco dei giardini pubblici di via Tavolara, Nada parlerà del suo ultimo libro La grande casa. A seguire il laboratorio musicale nato nel mondo del volontariato: i pazienti e artisti del centro di salute mentale di Rizzeddu si esibiranno con il jazzista Gavino Murgia. Chiuderanno la serata i musicisti Andrea Appino ed Enzo Moretto. Il giorno successivo, giovedì 25, sarà la volta del Comune di Ploaghe che nell’ex Convento dei Cappuccini ospiterà Corrado Fortuna, l’attore cha ha esordito sul grande schermo con il film My name is Tanino, e Marco Porru, finalista al Premio Calvino con il romanzo L’eredità dei corpi. L’appuntamento conclusivo di “Aspettando l’Argentiera” si svolgerà venerdì 26 a Porto Torres nel prato dell’Atrio Comita della Basilica di San Gavino. A partire dalle 10:30 Massimo Cirri, conduttore radiofonico di Caterpillar, incontrerà i sindacalisti della Cgil e alcuni cassintegrati per parlare di scrittura e crisi economica.

L’Argentiera

Da venerdì 26 a domenica 28 luglio il Festival tornerà all’Argentiera per tre serate dense di appuntamenti. Venerdì sera Paola Soriga e Alberto Urgu chiacchiereranno con Pif, protagonista e autore del programma Il Testimone. Successivamente il conduttore televisivo Luca Bonaccorsi dialogherà con una delle firme più note del Corriere della Sera: il giornalista e scrittore Beppe Severgnini. Prima di loro, sul palco della piazzetta i giornalisti Massimo Cirri e Celestino Tabasso e gli scrittori Antonio Pascale e Giuseppe Rizzo proveranno ad abbattere un po’ di luoghi comuni. A fine serata, come da tradizione, la spiaggia del borgo sarà animata da un dj set a cura di Federico Russo e Marisa Passera, voci di Radio Deejay. Una parentesi musicale che si ripeterà anche nella seconda giornata del festival. Sabato 27 luglio Sulla Terra Leggeri ospiterà Niccolò Ammaniti: uno degli scrittori italiani contemporanei più letti e tradotti in tutto il mondo. Ammaniti è l’autore di Io non ho paura, Io e te e Come Dio comanda. Nella stessa giornata l’incontro tra Fernando Masullo e Antonio Di Bella: due giornalisti e dirigenti televisivi che cercheranno di spiegarci l’Italia con gli occhi del corrispondente dall’estero. Il festival si concluderà domenica 28 luglio. L’apertura è affidata al gruppo Saluti da Saturno, che si esibirà sulla spiaggia del borgo. Poco dopo Giorgio Porrà e Darwin Pastorin spiegheranno la magia che circonda il mondo dello sport quando le grandi vittorie arrivano in piazze poco blasonate. A seguire Alessandro Fullin parlerà di cucina e comicità. Sarà poi la volta di un incontro inedito tra due delle donne più amate d’Italia: Geppi Cucciari e Serena Dandini. La chiusura della rassegna sarà affidata al cantante, scrittore e poeta Vinicio Capossela.

I laboratori

Dal 23 al 25 luglio la Biblioteca Comunale di Sassari ospiterà Le forme della scrittura: un laboratorio dove conoscere e mettere in pratica diversi modelli di scrittura possibile, dove sperimentare e azzardare, attraverso letture, esempi ed esercizi pratici. Due incontri tenuti dallo scrittore e autore televisivo Matte B. Bianchi con la presenza di due ospiti speciali: Giuseppe Rizzo e Antonio Pascale racconteranno il loro percorso creativo e professionale. L’iscrizione è gratuita.

La grafica

La veste grafica del festival è affidata a Emiliano Ponzi, uno degli illustratori più talentuosi degli ultimi anni. Ispirandosi al paesaggio dell’Argentiera e alle sue suggestioni l’artista milanese ha interpretato il senso della leggerezza: il carbone che diventa quasi una roccia d’argento, un borgo sospeso tra passato e futuro, capace di prendere il volo.

La scenografia

La scenografia della tappa sassarese, in programma mercoledì 24 luglio, sarà curata da Leonardo Boscani, un cosmonauta situazionista e visionario del panorama culturale locale. L’artista utilizzerà un’immagine scattata all’interno del vecchio Mulino Azzena Mossa come sfondo per il palco installato nei giardini pubblici di via Tavolara. Un‘opera densa di significato che teletrasporta la storia e la tradizione decennale di quel luogo all’interno della rassegna letteraria Sulla Terra Leggeri.

Gli Organizzatori

La regia dell’evento è affidata a un gruppo di amici, tra cui gli scrittori Flavio e Paola Soriga, la conduttrice televisiva Geppi Cucciari, il giornalista Alberto Urgu, l’autore Matteo B.Bianchi, il cantautore Giovanni Peresson e le Ragazze Terribili. Le stesse persone che nel 2008 hanno intrapreso un’avventura che sembrava irrealizzabile: portare all’Argentiera un momento festivo e culturale in grado di diventare punto di riferimento per una regione intera.

The last weekend of July, from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th, the ruins of the old mine host journalists, writers, actors and musicians from all over Italy. A rich representation that will be entrusted with the difficult task of telling, with lightness, the nation in which we live. The events will take place between the square and the beach of the village located on the border of the province of Sassari: a quiet and beautiful where the organizers of the literature review were able to magnetize thousands of people. A love that grows with the passing years, and that pushes the creators of the show to renew their commitment. As per tradition, the sixth edition also enjoy a large preview. This year the municipalities that will host the meetings of “Waiting for the Argentiera” will Sassari, Alghero, Porto Torres and Ploaghe.

The organization of the sixth edition of the festival, just like the previous ones, was made possible thanks to the support and generosity of the City of Sassari and Banca di Sassari two institutions that from the beginning they believed firmly and deeply in this event.

The Guests

The program of the sixth edition boasts illustrious names, worthy representatives of the thousand facets of the world of literature. Great space will be devoted to journalism. The festival will host Pif, creator of the television program The Witness; Beppe Severgnini, writer and journalist of the Corriere della Sera, the television presenter Luke Bonaccorsi, the executive Rai Fernando Masullo, the chronicler L’Unione Sarda Celestino Tabasso, the RAI correspondent in Paris Antonio Di Bella, the conductor Caterpillar Massimo Cirri. The theatrical space is given to the writer Lella Costa, actor and comedian Alexander Corrado Fortuna Fullin. The musical moments will be cared for by Columella Swing, from the group Greetings from Saturn, from jazz Gavino Murgia, who will perform with patients and gliartisti the Day Centre of the Department of Mental Health of Sassari by singer-songwriter Andrea Appino. In the calendar of the event will not fail the literature. Dialogue with the audience the presenter and writer Serena Dandini, the singer Nada; Calvino Prize finalist Mark Porras, writers Niccolò Ammaniti, Simone Lenzi, Rosella Postorino and Joseph Rizzo. The sports journalists Giorgio Porrà and Darwin Pastorin tell the great sporting successes of the teams in the province. Finally, the writer and singer-songwriter Vinicio Capossela will read some passages from his latest book.

Waiting for the Argentiera

The previews of the Festival will wind through four municipalities of the Province of Sassari. It starts Sunday, July 21 in Alghero. The port of the Catalan town will host three different parts: the return to the Festival of the actress and writer Lella Costa, the encounter with Eugenio Cossu, Sandro Ruju and Giampiero Cassitta in which we will talk about the area: dall’Asinara Argentiera, the concert the quintet Roman Columella swing. Wednesday, 24 the exhibition moved to Sassari. On stage, the public gardens of Via Tavolara, Nada will talk about his latest book, The big house. Following the musical laboratory born in the voluntary sector: patients and artists of the mental health center of Rizzeddu will perform with jazz Gavino Murgia. Will close the evening the musicians Andrea Appino and Enzo Moretto. The next day, Thursday 25, will be the turn of the Municipality of Ploaghe that in the former Convent of the Capuchins host Corrado Fortuna, the actor cha debuted on the big screen with the film My Name is Tanino, and Mark Porras, a finalist for the Calvino Prize with the novel The legacy of the bodies. The final round of “Waiting for the Argentiera” will take place on Friday 26 in Porto Torres in the meadow Comita the Atrium of the Basilica of San Gavino. Starting from 10:30 Massimo Cirri, radio host of Caterpillar, will meet the CGIL trade unionists and some cassintegrati to talk about writing and economic crisis.

The Argentiera

From Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July, the Festival will return to Argentiera for three evenings full of appointments. Friday night Soriga Paola and Alberto Urgu chiacchiereranno with Pif, the protagonist and author of The Witness program. Subsequently, the television presenter Luke Bonaccorsi dialogue with one of the most well-known signatures of the Corriere della Sera journalist and writer Beppe Severgnini. Before them, on the stage of the square journalists Massimo Cirri and Celestino Tabasso and writers Antonio Pascale and Giuseppe Rizzo will try to break down a bit ‘of clichés. Saturday, July 27 On Earth Light Niccolò Ammaniti host: one of the most widely read contemporary Italian writers and translated all over the world. Ammaniti is the author of I’m Not Scared, You and I and As God Commands. On the same day the meeting between Fernando Masullo and Antonio Di Bella: two journalists and television executives who will try to explain to Italy through the eyes of foreign correspondent. The festival will end on Sunday July 28. The opening is entrusted to the group Greetings from Saturn, who will perform on the beach of the village. Shortly after George Porrà and Darwin Pastorin explain the magic that surrounds the world of sport when the big victories coming by little squares emblazoned. Following Alessandro Fullin talk about cooking and comedy. It will then be the turn of an unprecedented meeting between two of the most popular women in Italy: Geppi Cucciari and Serena Dandini. The closure of the exhibition will be entrusted to the singer, writer and poet Vinicio Capossela.

The laboratories

From 23 to 25 July, the Public Library of Sassari host forms of writing: a laboratory know and put into practice different models of writing possible, where and assess risks, through readings, examples and practical exercises. Two meetings held by the writer and television writer Matte B. Bianchi with the presence of two special guests: Giuseppe Rizzo and Antonio Pascale tell their creative and professional. The registration is free.

The graphics

The layout of this festival is headed by Emiliano Ponzi, one of the most talented illustrators in recent years. Inspired by the landscape and its suggestions dell’Argentiera the Milanese artist has interpreted the sense of lightness: coal that it almost becomes a rock of silver, a village suspended between past and future, able to take flight.

The set

The setting of the stage Sassari, scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, will be curated by Leonardo Boscani, a cosmonaut situationist and visionary of the local cultural landscape. The artist will use an image taken inside the old mill Azzena Move as a backdrop for the stage installed in the public gardens of Via Tavolara. A work full of meaning that teleports the history and tradition of that place within the ten-year literature review on Earth Light.

The Organisers

The direction of the event is handled by a group of friends, including writers Flavio and Paola Soriga, the Geppi Cucciari TV presenter, journalist Alberto Urgu, the author Matthew B.Bianchi, songwriter John Peresson and Girls Terrible. The same people who in 2008 embarked on an adventure that seemed impossible: to bring Argentiera a cultural and festive moment can become a reference point for the whole region.
