The Stay Down is a festival with a difference. Not only because it is the result of an unprecedented collaboration and until recently unthinkable, namely that between Basstation Here I Stay, and – at least, back when there was someone who believed he still had a sense of the fence between “worlds” of ‘Electronic and those of “rock”. But, above all, the concept behind it and the location chosen for the event.
The location. The background of the Lake Flumendosa Nurri and in the frame of the mountains, a vast expanse of green and blue in a nearly pristine nature. Everything takes place in the hotel Is Tellas, in the spaces around the pool and the natural amphitheater inside the content. The music that goes with the Sardinian landscape, in a respectful and discreet when nature is a value added can radically change the experience of listening and how to live a musical event like this. In a relaxed and intimate date (also) by the limited number of participants.
Twenty-four hours in a row in which the passage of time will be punctuated by performances suitable time proposed. Music from sundown Saturday until sundown the next – and even the very first morning sunrise and will have their own soundtrack, up to the evening of Sunday excursion boat on the lake waters of Lake Navigation Company, during a final party with concerts and DJ sets to round off the festival. And then food and wine tastings of the place, in collaboration with local wineries and activities, which will also be inside the hotel accommodation as a hotel that is as camping for the entire duration of the event.
Stay Down is a festival where you move seamlessly from rock to electronics, from DJ sets to dance under the stars to those who accompany you in a relaxed way the sunrise, suffused with the atmosphere of intimate folk to garage more easygoing. If it is true that the landscape will have a good fifty percent of the total weight of the value of the festival, live DJ sets and names were chosen by identifying the highest quality in the Sardinian and international scene.
