Nuovo appuntamento con la rassegna autunnale di Spaziomusica, lunedì 28 ottobre a Cagliari: protagonisti al Ghetto (il centro d’arte e cultura in via Santa Croce, nel quartiere di Castello) la pianista Ruya Taner e il percussionista Dincer Özer con un programma che alterna pagine di Schumann, Debussy, Chopin e Kodaly a brani di autori turchi come Ulvi Cemal Erkin, Kamran Ince, Nazim Hidayetoðlu e Sayram Akdil.

Si comincia alle 21 con ingresso gratuito.

Riconosciuta come uno dei maggiori pianisti della nuova generazione della Turchia, Ruya Taner è originaria della Repubblica Turca di Cipro Nord. La sua formazione musicale ha inizio con il padre, prima di proseguire con gli studi al Conservatorio di Stato di Ankara. Nel 1983 una borsa di studio dello stato le permette di studiare a Londra con Joan Havill alla Guildhall School of Music and Drama, dove si diploma nel 1992 e ottiene, due anni dopo, il prestigioso Concert Recital Diploma.
Vincitrice di numerosi festival nazionali nel Regno Unito, dove ha debuttato in concerto nel 1998 alla Wigmore Hall di Londra, ha suonato in più di quarantacinque paesi in Europa, USA, Asia e nella regione del Golfo, dando recital solistici, concerti di musica da camera e con orchestre di stato e private. Le sue performance sono state trasmesse dalla radio nazionale e dalla televisione di Cipro Nord e in Italia, Slovacchia, Bosnia-Erzegovina, la Macedonia e l’Azerbaigian. Negli ultimi anni, oltre a portare avanti la sua carriera da solista, Ruya Taner ha dedicato più tempo alla musica da camera, dando concerti con solisti di nuova generazione e due recital pianistici con i musicisti dell’ADAP (l’Associazione degli Artisti Uniti per la Pace ), di cui è membro permanente. Le sue registrazioni del Concerto No.21 per pianoforte e orchestra di Mozart dal vivo a Bruxelles nel 1996, “Highlights from Wigmore Hall” a Londra nel 1998, e “Sweet Waters of Europe” registrato a Praga nel 2003, hanno ricevuto molta attenzione da parte della stampa e degli amanti della musica in tutto il mondo.

Anche Dincer Özer ha iniziato la sua formazione musicale con il padre, Erdem Özer, per approfondire poi gli studi musicali al Conservatorio di Stato di Ankara in Turchia. Dopo il diploma in percussioni è entrato a far parte dell’Orchestra Sinfonica Presidenziale dove è diventato membro del gruppo di percussioni. Özer ha ricevuto il primo premio all’orchestra Giovanile del Mediterraneo (Francia ) e ha partecipato a numerosi corsi di perfezionamento all’estero, tra cui quelli del celebre percussionista Sylvic Gualdo (Francia), di jazz di Stuart Saunders Smith (USA), di musica sinfonica con Dannis Kain e  rock con Kenneith Anoff. Ha vinto il primo premio per ottenere una borsa di studio dal governo svizzero per studiare con Yves Bruestaux, William Blanc e percussioni latine con John Mayer a Ginevra.
Oltre agli impegni con l’Orchestra Sinfonica Presidenziale di Ankara, Dincer Özer continua a dare performance da solista che comprendono opere come il Concerto per due pianoforti e percussioni di Bela Bartok, e a esibirsi con l’orchestra della Svizzera Romanda, il Gruppo Internazionale di Percussioni di Ginevra e a registrare cd e progetti televisivi in Turchia e all’estero. Oltre a girare il mondo con l’Orchestra Presidenziale, trova il tempo da dedicare a nuovi progetti e per suonare in duo con il fratello Soner Özer, anche lui percussionista, e con compagnie di danza moderna e tradizionale. Docente alla Gazi Ãœniversitesi dell’Ankara, dove condivide la sua conoscenza musicale e promuove i giovani talenti, è impegnato anche nell’organizzazione di un festival di percussioni.

Il concerto di Ruya Taner e Dincer Özer apre una settimana densa di impegni per la rassegna autunnale di Spaziomusica che nel prossimo appuntamento, mercoledì 30 ottobre (sempre al Ghetto con inizio alle 21), vivrà uno dei suoi momenti più originali e rappresentativi: l’Ensemble Spaziomusica, la formazione “di casa” diretta da Riccardo Leone, eseguirà infatti alcune delle opere scelte in occasione della prima edizione di MusicaPoi, un progetto di selezione indetto quest’anno dall’’associazione Spaziomusica Ricerca per lavori cameristici inediti, rivolto a compositori di qualsiasi nazionalità e senza limiti di età.New appointment with the autumn festival of Spaziomusica , Monday, Oct. 28 in Cagliari : protagonists of the Ghetto (the center of art and culture in Via Santa Croce , in the district of Castello ), the pianist and percussionist Ruya Taner Dincer Özer with a program that alternates pages of Schumann , Debussy , Chopin and Kodaly to pieces by Turks as Ulvi Cemal Erkin , Kamran Ince, Nazim Hidayetoðlu and Sayram Akdil .

Recognized as one of the greatest pianists of the new generation of Turkey, Taner Ruya is a native of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus . His musical education began with his father, before continuing his studies at the State Conservatory in Ankara. Dincer Özer also began his musical training with his father, Erdem Özer , then to deepen his musical studies at the State Conservatory in Ankara in Turkey. In addition to commitments with the Presidential Symphony Orchestra in Ankara, Dincer Özer continues to give solo performances that include works such as the Concerto for two pianos and percussion by Bela Bartok , and to perform with the Orchestra de la Suisse Romande , the International Group of Percussion Geneva and record CDs and television projects in Turkey and abroad. In addition to traveling the world with the Presidential Orchestra , finds time to devote to new projects and to play in a duo with his brother Soner Özer , who was also a percussionist , and with modern dance companies and traditional. Professor at Gazi Üniversitesi of Ankara , where he shares his musical knowledge and promotes young talent , is also involved in organizing a festival of percussion.

The concert Ruya Taner Dincer and Özer opens a week full of commitments for the autumn festival of Spaziomusica that in the next round , Wednesday, Oct. 30 ( always the Ghetto beginning at 21) , will live one of its most original and representative : l ‘ Ensemble Spaziomusica , training “at home ” directed by Richard Leone , indeed some of the selected works will perform on the occasion of the first edition of MusicaPoi , a recruitment project launched this year by ” association Spaziomusica Search by chamber works unpublished , open to composers of any nationality and any age .
