SOGNO DI UN BURATTINO DI MEZZA ESTATE – CAGLIARI – 12,14,16 AGOSTO 2013DREAM OF A PUPPET IN SUMMER – CAGLIARI – AUGUST 12,14,16

Sorpresa di Ferragosto sotto gli alberi di piazza Islanda a Cagliari per le famiglie che trascorrono le ferie in città. Lunedì 12, mercoledì 14 e venerdì 16 agosto, nell’area giochi a ridosso delle scuole di via Stoccolma, arriva la Compagnia Is Mascareddas con “Sogno di un burattino di mezza estate”, rassegna di spettacoli e laboratori per i più piccoli interamente gratuita, inserita nel cartellone ESTATE 2013 dell’assessorato comunale alle Politiche sociali.

Ciascuna delle tre giornate, dalle 17 alle 19, si apre con un mini corso di costruzione e animazione di burattini di carta a cura di Donatella Pau, della Compagnia Is Mascareddas. L’iniziativa, rivolta a bambini dai 6 agli 11 anni d’età, mira a far scoprire ai partecipanti la possibilità creativa del cartoncino colorato per costruire dei piccoli burattini con cui giocare. Partendo da una superficie piana si imparerà come determinare un volume, ossia come piegare, modellare, ritagliare per utilizzare la duttilità della carta. Utilizzando le giuste forme e volumi tra figurazione e stilizzazione saranno realizzate le teste di alcuni animali: draghi, conigli, pecore, asini e lupi. Il laboratorio è aperto ad un massimo di 15 bambini a serata, su prenotazione entro la mattinata del giorno di programmazione ai numeri 070 5839742  – 340 180 22 40, o all’indirizzo  ismascareddas@tiscali.it.

Ogni sera di “Sogno di un burattino di mezza estate”, alle 21, spazio agli spettacoli di teatro d’animazione. Nel primo appuntamento, lunedì 12 agosto, va in scena “Areste Paganos e i Giganti”, cavallo di battaglia della Compagnia Is Mascareddas sul tema della balentìa, interpretato dietro la baracca da Tonino Murru. Areste, la “superpecora”, il toro e gli altri otto personaggi sono i protagonisti dell’atto unico per teste di legno ambientato in un piccolo paese sardo.

Mercoledì 14 agosto è la volta di Agostino Cacciabue e Rita Xaxa di Teatro Tages. I marionettisti di Quartu Sant’Elena presentano “Manovella Circus”. Nello spettacolo di burattini e marionette a filo, con musiche suonate da un organetto di Barberìa, il pubblico assiste ad una variegata rassegna di personaggi. Tra gli altri fanno comparsa una simpatica famiglia di scimmiotte, l’acrobata Max, la fascinosa Ginger che balla il charleston e danza sui pattini a rotelle, Casimiro, giocoliere equilibrista e il mago illusionista Gustavo.

La chiusura della rassegna è affidata a Tonino Murru nelle vesti di burattinaio e narratore in scena con  “Anima e coru”, panoramica sul lavoro ultra trentennale di Is Mascareddas, che diventa così il pretesto per raccontare la storia della burattinerìa e le sue caratteristiche. Dentro “Anima e coru” – firmato a sei mani da Tonino Murru, Donatella Pau e Cristiano Bandini – fanno comparsa personaggi storici della compagnia di Monserrato, uno su tutti il burattino Areste Paganòs, e varie nuove realizzazioni di Donatella Pau.

“Sogno di un burattino di mezza estate” è un progetto della Compagnia Is Mascareddas organizzato con la collaborazione e il cofinanziamento dell’Assessorato alle Politiche Sociali del Comune di Cagliari nell’ambito del cartellone ESTATE 2013. La rassegna è, inoltre, sostenuta dalla Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, Assessorato della Pubblica Istruzione, Beni Culturali, Informazione, Spettacolo e Sport, e dal Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, Direzione Generale per lo Spettacolo Dal Vivo.

Monday 12, Wednesday 14 and Friday, August 16, in the play area close to the schools via Stockholm, comes the Company Is Mascareddas with “Dream of a Midsummer puppet”, a series of performances and workshops for children entirely free, inserted in the bill SUMMER 2013 dell’assessorato municipal social policies.

Each of the three days, from 17 to 19, opens with a short course of construction and animation of paper puppets by Donatella Pau, the Society Is Mascareddas. The initiative, aimed at children aged 6 to 11 years of age, aims at helping participants discover the creative possibilities of colored cardboard to make little puppets to play with. Starting from a flat surface you will learn how to determine a volume, that is as a bend, mold, crop to use the ductility of the paper. Using the right forms and volumes between figuration and stylization will be realized the heads of some animals: dragons, rabbits, sheep, donkeys and wolves. The workshop is open to a maximum of 15 children in the evening, booking no later than the morning of the day of programming to 070 numbers from 5,839,742 to 340,180 22 40, or at ismascareddas@tiscali.it.

Every night of “Dream of a Midsummer puppet”, at 21, the space theater of animation. In the first appointment, Monday, August 12, is staged “Areste Páganos and the Giants,” workhorse of the Society Is Mascareddas on the theme of Balent, played behind the cabin by Tonino Murru. Areste, the “superpecora”, the bull and the other eight characters are the protagonists of a single act for blockheads set in a small Sardinian village.

Wednesday, August 14 is the time of Augustine and Rita Cacciabue Xaxa Theatre Tages. The puppeteers of St. Helens show “Crank Circus”. In the show of puppets and string puppets, with music played by a barrel organ, the audience witnessed a variegated collection of characters. Among others make their appearance a nice family scimmiotte, the acrobat Max, the glamorous Ginger dancing the Charleston and dance on roller skates, Casimiro, juggler juggler and magician illusionist Gustavo.

The closure of the exhibition is provided by Tonino Murru in the role of puppeteer and storyteller on stage with “Soul and coru”, over the thirty years of work Is Mascareddas, which thus becomes the excuse to tell the story of burattinerìa and its features. Inside “Soul and coru” – signed six hands by Tonino Murru, Donatella Pau and Christian Bandini – historical figures make their appearance in the company of Montserrat, one on all the puppet Areste Páganos, and various new realizations of Donatella Pau.

“I dream of a puppet Midsummer” is a project of the Society Is Mascareddas organized with the collaboration and co-financing Social Policies of the City of Cagliari in the billboard SUMMER 2013. The exhibition is also supported by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Department of Education, Culture, Information, Entertainment and Sports, and the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, Directorate General for Live Entertainment.
