Six Memos prosegue Venerdì 21 Dicembre con il 4° appuntamento dedicato alla Visibilità che si terrà a partire dalle 17,30 al Castello San Michele di Cagliari.

Il programma si articola nelle tre performance degli artisti Gaetano Marino, Paolo De Liso e The Scuttelbutt che, contemporaneamente all’allestimento di tre nuove opere proposte dagli artisti di Six Memos, coinvolgeranno il pubblico nel corso della serata.

Artefice del coinvolgente video Packaging’s Life, dedicato al dramma esistenziale della quotidiana convivenza con l’elemento artificiale e innaturale che  spesso ci conduce alla distruzione e alla morte, Silvio Giordano propone, in occasione di questo quarto appuntamento, The Silver Mirror. In questa video – installazione l’artista si concentra sul problema del doppio e in particolare sul conflitto dell’individuo con la propria immagine. Inevitabile il legame con il mito di  Narciso e l’invidia che lo assale al primo sguardo della propria immagine riflessa, ma nell’opera di Giordano, oltre la citazione, è presente la consapevolezza del dubbio ossessivo e incontenibile che divora l’identità umana.
In omaggio alla Visibilità, ma anche alla Molteplicità calviniana, Progetto Askòs (Chiara Schirru e Michele Mereu) presenta un nuovo lavoro, La regola dei 150, video installazione ispirata alla regola, appunto, che, secondo una proiezione visionaria dello scrittore, avrebbe dovuto osservare “una rete sociale ideale”, fondata su relazioni stabili e continuative ma limitate a 150 membri. Smentita dalla persistenza ed efficacia delle migliaia di adesioni ai social network più frequentati, l’analisi di Calvino colpisce per l’efficacia della intuizione verso l’importanza dei legami grazie a internet e alla velocità della comunicazione.
Proseguendo con la ricerca sul rapporto estetico tra l’oggetto e la sua immagine, già realizzato nell’installazione Solid Memos, Daniele Ledda propone la nuova serie fotografica Portaits (2011-2012). Nel processo di manipolazione, tra l’oggetto e la sua proiezione si crea un legame indissolubile, come se l’uno non potesse esistere senza l’altro. Lo stesso principio di ricerca è riscontrabile in questa altra serie dove, il forte impatto plastico della prima, lascia spazio all’intensità dell’immagine digitale che nella stampa ritrova la propria tridimensionalità.

LE PERFORMANCE
Dalle 17.00 alle 20.30 sarà possibile assistere alla video installazione interattiva Rapidi Crimini di Gaetano Marino, ovvero, tutto in una noce video/delitti ispirati a Lord Jusep Torres Campalans (interpreti Mariana Fiore, Cristiana Sarritzu, Andrea Del Rio, Gaetano Marino, Marta e Filippo, Orsetto Babà, Mosca Xaxà, Paletta, Ciccio Pelota e noce che nuoce…).

Dalle 20.30 alle 21.00 Paolo De Liso eseguirà la performance Birgus Latro, “batteria componibile”. In seguito al tradizionale percorso rivolto allo studio della batteria e alla sperimentazione di vari linguaggi musicali, si è soffermato in particolare sul jazz, lo stile dell’improvvisazione, individuando una ricerca personale sull’“indipendenza” della batteria nei confronti degli altri strumenti.

Dalle 21.00 alle 22 chiuderà la serata il quintetto PsicojazzRock The Scuttelbutt (Matteo Dessi :Chitarra, Michele Bruera: Basso; Alessandro Unali:Sax; Michele Uccheddu: Percussioni; Matteo Leone: Batteria). La band nasce a Portoscuso tra lamiere contorte e pensieri dettati dai fumi della defunta Alcoa.
In uno scenario postapocallittico di un asilo abbandonato gli Scuttlebutt compongono i loro brani, spaziando dal jazz al rock, dalla samba alla psichedelia pura, ma sempre devoti all’Improvvisazione Radicale.

Six Memos continues Friday, December 21 with the 4th meeting dedicated to the visibility that will be held starting at 17.30 at the Castello San Michele di Cagliari.

The program is divided into three performance artists Gaetano Marino, Paolo De Liso and The Scuttelbutt that, at the same time to the preparation of three new works proposed by the artists of Six Memos, involve the public in the course of the evening.

Creator of immersive video Packaging’s Life, dedicated to the existential drama of daily life together with the artificial and unnatural element that often leads to destruction and death, Silvio Giordano proposes, on the occasion of this fourth round, The Silver Mirror. In this video – installation, the artist focuses on the problem of the double and in particular on the conflict of the individual with his own image. Inevitable link with the myth of Narcissus and envy that attacks him at first sight with his own reflection, but in the work of Jordan, as well as the quote, there is an awareness of the obsessional doubt and uncontrollable that devours human identity.
In homage to the visibility, but also to Multiplicity Calvino, Project Askos (Chiara Schirru and Michael Meredith) has a new job, the rule of 150, video installation inspired by the rule, in fact, that, according to a projection of the visionary writer, he should observe “a social network ideal” based on a stable and continuous, but limited to 150 members. Contradicted by the persistence and effectiveness of thousands of signatures to the social network’s most popular, the analysis of Calvin affects the effectiveness of insight into the importance of links with the Internet and the speed of communication.
Continuing research on the aesthetic relationship between the object and its image, already completed installation Solid Memos, Daniele Ledda offers a new series of photographs Portaits (2011-2012). In the process of handling, between the object and its projection creates an unbreakable bond, as if one could not exist without the other. The same research can be found in this other series, where the impact of the first plastic, which gives way to the intensity of the digital image in the press finds its three-dimensionality.

PERFORMANCE
From 17.00 to 20.30 you can watch the interactive video installation Quick Crimes Gaetano Marino, that is, in a nut all video / crimes inspired by Lord Jusep Torres Campalans (interpreters Mariana Fiore, Christian Sarritzu, Andrea Del Rio, Gaetano Marino, Martha and Philip , Bear Baba, Moscow Shasha, Shovel, Ciccio Pelota and walnut harm …).

From 20.30 to 21.00 Paul De Liso perform performance Birgus Latro, “modular battery.” Following the traditional path devoted to the study of the battery and the testing of various musical languages, focused in particular on the jazz style improvisation, identifying a personal research on ‘”independence” of the battery against the other instruments.

From 21.00 to 22 will close the evening the quintet PsicojazzRock The Scuttelbutt (Matthew Dessi: Guitar, Michele Bruera: Low, Alexander Unali: Sax, Michele Uccheddu: Percussion, Matthew Leone: Drums). The band was formed in Portoscuso of twisted metal and thoughts dictated by the fumes of the deceased Alcoa.
In a scenario of a kindergarten postapocallittico abandoned the Scuttlebutt compose their songs, ranging from jazz to rock, from samba to psychedelia pure, but always devoted to improvisation Radical.
