La Federazione Motociclistica Italiana (FMI), sotto l’egida delle Federazione Internazionale Motociclistica (FIM), ha l’onore di organizzare l’88° edizione dell’International Six Days of Enduro 2013 (ISDE), a 100 anni esatti dalla prima che si disputò a Carlisle nel Regno Unito. La Sei Giorni d’Enduro, detta anche l’Olimpiade della moto, è un evento unico nel suo genere che ogni anno, organizzato in un paese diverso, assegna il titolo di Campione del Mondo di Enduro a squadre Nazionali. Per festeggiare i suoi cento anni l’ISDE 2013 si è data appuntamento in una location estremamente suggestiva: la Sardegna, in particolare la regione della Gallura. Dal 30 settembre al 5 ottobre, infatti, tutti i piloti presenti al via si ritroveranno nel paddock di Olbia per dare vita ad un’edizione che si preannuncia molto interessante, a cominciare dalle località che toccherà.

In realtà l’appuntamento per piloti, addetti ai lavori e appassionati è fissato anche prima del 30 settembre, precisamente il 28, con la parata delle Nazioni che segna la Cerimonia d’apertura ufficiale della manifestazione. Da quel momento in poi tutti i piloti gareggeranno sui sentieri tracciati per le diverse prove speciali, che toccheranno alcuni tra i più bei luoghi sardi. Nella manifestazione infatti sono coinvolti i maggiori comuni della Gallura, a cominciare da Olbia, sede del cuore della manifestazione, il paddock, situato nel molo Isola Bianca, proseguendo con Tempio Pausania e Golfo Aranci, e passando attraverso i suggestivi paesaggi di Alà dei Sardi, Arzachena, Calangianus, Lori Porto San Paolo, Padru, Sant’antonio di Gallura e Telti.

A darsi battaglia lungo i percorsi sardi ci saranno 630 piloti provenienti da tutto il mondo, in rappresentanza di 36 paesi, senza contare poi i 140 Club Team presenti alla manifestazione. Numeri da record per quella che è l’edizione del centenario. Da tenere d’occhio ci sarà senza dubbio la Nazionale Francese, detentrice del titolo vinto lo scorso anno in Germania e fresca vincitrice del Mondiale di Enduro nelle classi E1 e E2, rispettivamente con Christophe Nambotin e  Antoine Meo, e la squadra Australiana, giunta 2° l’anno scorso. Insieme a loro ci saranno come possibili favoriti la Finlandia, forte degli ottimi risultati ottenuti nel Mondiale 2013 in E1 da Matti Seistola e Eero Remes, e i padroni di casa, la squadra italiana, giunta 3 nella scorsa edizione al Sachsenring.

Un evento imperdibile, nel quale sono coinvolti in prima linea oltre ovviamente alla FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) e alla FMI (Federazione Motociclistica Italiana) enti quali la Regione Autonoma della Sardegna, l’Agenzia Governativa Regionale Sardegna Promozione le varie autorità locali, l’Ente forestale e Portuale, e una lunghissima serie di sponsor, partner e fornitori ufficiali; nomi come KTM, Aeroporto Olbia Costa Smeralda, Sardinia Ferries e Europcar. E poi ancora Fiat Professional, Bardahl, Metzeler, Tiscali, Eicma, Airoh, Brema. La lista sarebbe ancora più lunga, a testimonianza di quanto sia grande l’importanza della manifestazione.

Saranno sei lunghe giornate di prove speciali e battaglie, per un totale di circa 1.500 km totali da percorrere, che termineranno con il momento clou della manifestazione, l’Evento Finale EICMA di Cross a Tempio Pausania, nel crossdromo “Sergio Bruschi”. La finale di cross che decreterà la nazione vincitrice del 2013. I 630 piloti saranno al via suddivisi in gruppi di 40. Quindici manche avvincenti e combattute, otto giri, per un totale di circa venti minuti, nei quali ognuno cercherà di dare il meglio di sé, per arrivare poi alle tre finali delle classi regine, che saranno trasmesse in diretta televisiva, per dar modo a tutti di non perdere lo spettacolo della finale, al termine della quale solo una nazione potrà alzare al cielo l’ambito “World Trophy”. L’appuntamento è fissato: Olbia, 30 settembre. La lotta per conquistare il titolo del centenario è cominciata!

DOVE

I percorsi di gara vedono coinvolti dieci comuni per una lunghezza totale di circa 1250 km: Alà dei Sardi, Arzachena, Calangianus, Golfo Aranci, Loiri, Olbia, Padru, Sant’Antonio di Gallura, Telti, Tempio Pausania. Il paddock della manifestazione, punto di accoglienza principale per tutti gli enduristi, verrà allestito sul molo crociere 1 e 2 del porto “Isola Bianca” di Olbia. Sarà un grande villaggio, con accesso gratuito, dove si terranno partenze e arrivi, con gli stand e i punti ristoro. Qui si organizzeranno anche le attività di servizio e assistenza, gli show di intrattenimento e le occasioni di contatto fra pubblico, piloti e i personaggi del mondo del motociclismo e dello spettacolo. Le gare si svolgeranno lungo sentieri, mulattiere e fasce taglia fuoco all’interno di comprensori naturalistici in buona parte gestiti dalla Regione Sardegna tramite l’Ente Foreste che ne cura sia le infrastrutture viarie che l’ambiente. Ogni giorno sono previsti 4 Controlli Orari e 6 Prove Speciali, mentre il 6° giorno, a Tempio Pausania, nel Crossodromo “Sergio Bruschi, si svolgerà la Prova Finale di Motocross (la Prova sarà trasmessa in diretta TV e sulle webTV di tutto il mondo). Le giornate di gara saranno precedute da un evento imperdibile: la Cerimonia d’apertura e la sfilata delle Nazioni in programma sabato 28 settembre a Olbia.

GLI AZZURRI

La formazione azzurra capitanata dal neo Campione del Mondo Alex Salvini conta su Simone Albergoni, Thomas Oldrati, Manuel Monni, Deny Philippaerts e Oscar Balletti. Proprio Salvini è l’unico componente del gruppo ad aver già conquistato un’edizione della Sei Giorni, quando nel 2007 insieme a Belometti, Botturi, Dini, Micheluz e Belotti si aggiudicò la vittoria in Cile. Da allora il Trofeo non è più tornato in Italia, andando per ben quattro volte ai cugini transalpini e una volta in Finlandia. Particolarmente temibile anche in questa edizione la formazione francese, al via con ben due campioni del mondo, Meo e Nambotin. Per conoscere i numeri di gara degli azzurri e di quanti più “riders” possibili, un primo passo potrebbe proprio essere quello di memorizzare la Entry List. Certo, i piloti sono tanti, ma c’è tempo fino al 30 settembre per imparare i loro nomi (e numeri di gara) a memoria. Buono studio!

From that moment on, all the drivers will compete to the paths for the different stages that will visit some of the most beautiful places in Sardinia. In the event are in fact involved the most common of Gallura , starting from Olbia , home to the heart of the event , the paddock , located in the White Island pier , continuing with Tempio and Golfo Aranci , and passing through the picturesque landscapes of Ala dei Sardi , Arzachena , Calangianus , Lori Porto San Paolo, Padru , Sant’Antonio di Gallura and Telti .

WHERE

The race courses are involved ten municipalities for a total length of about 1250 km: Ala dei Sardi , Arzachena , Calangianus , Golfo Aranci , Loiri , Olbia, Padru , Sant’Antonio di Gallura , Telti , Tempio . The paddock of the event, the main reception point for all enduro riders will be set up on the pier cruise port 1 and 2 of the ” White Island” of Olbia. It will be a big village, with free access, where there will be departures and arrivals, with stands and dining options. Here you will also organize the activities of service and support , the entertainment show and the opportunities for contact between the public , drivers and personalities from the world of motorcycling and entertainment. The races will take place along footpaths, bridleways and fire bands size inside ski naturalistic largely managed by the Region of Sardinia through the Forestry Agency that takes care of both the road infrastructure and the environment. Every day there are 4 Time Controls and 6 special stages , while the 6th day, Tempio , in Crossodromo ” Sergio Bruschi , will host the final round of Motocross ( Proof will be broadcast live on TV and WebTV around the world ) . The days of competition will be preceded by an event not to be missed : the Opening Ceremony and Parade of Nations on Saturday September 28 in Olbia.

THE BLUES

The formation of blue headed by World Champion Alex Salvini counts of Simone Albergoni , Thomas Oldrati , Manuel Monni , Deny Philippaerts and Oscar Ballets .
