SE NON LA PIANTI…FINISCE! – LA VETRERIA – PIRRI -17-20 APRILEIF YOU DO NOT STOP…IT ENDS ! – LA VETRERIA – PIRRI – AVRIL 17 TO 20

CISV Sardegna presenta “Se non la pianti… finisce!”: fotografie, audio e video sulla gestione sostenibile delle foreste in una mostra multimediale e interattiva che condurrà i visitatori a scoprire le ‘buone pratiche’ d’utilizzo di queste risorse. «Oggi le foreste scompaiono al ritmo di 13 milioni di ettari l’anno, un’area grande quanto la Grecia: ritmo insostenibile per l’equilibrio del pianeta. E l’Italia è il primo importatore europeo di legname» spiega Piera Gioda, presidente CISV. «Per questo è fondamentale informare le persone sul valore ambientale, sociale ed economico delle foreste e su come tutelarle a partire dal proprio quotidiano».

La mostra, che ha il il patrocinio del Comune di Cagliari,  aperta a tutti e pensata per offrire particolari stimoli ai ragazzi delle scuole secondarie, è a basso impatto ambientale, leggera e adattabile per ogni allestimento. Si compone di 5 sezioni:

Sensazioni. L’ambiente naturale ricostruito attraverso allestimenti floreali e sequenze video su grande schermo.
Visioni. Rappresentazione di un ambiente degradato e desertificato con l’impiego di sabbie, piante morte, rifiuti ed effetti audio.
Pensieri. 30 stampe fotografiche per evocare il rapporto uomo-foresta in varie parti del mondo.
Idee. Video-clip sulle storie di vita e di lavoro delle comunità rurali in Brasile, Burkina Faso, Camerun e Cile realizzate dai fotografi Marco Bello, Alessandro Rocca e i registi De Serio.
Esperienze. Attività ludico-didattiche per approfondire le proprie conoscenze sulle foreste e il consumo sostenibile delle risorse derivate (carta, legno, alimenti…).

«L’impoverimento ecologico dovuto alla deforestazione ci riguarda tutti, perciò è importante far capire cosa fare per arginare il fenomeno» spiega il curatore della mostra Giordano Golinelli, esperto di Educazione allo sviluppo e Comunicazione sociale. «I laboratori e i materiali audiovisivi favoriscono una presa di coscienza che va oltre il mero nozionismo e fa leva sull’intelligenza e le emozioni dei partecipanti».

CISV Sardinia presents “If you do not stop … it ends!” Photographs, audio and video on sustainable forest management in a multimedia exhibition and interactive that will lead visitors to discover the ‘best practices’ of use of these resources. “Today the forests disappear at a rate of 13 million hectares per year, an area the size of Greece: unsustainable rate for the balance of the planet. And Italy is the first European importer of timber “says Piera Gioda, president of CISV. “It is therefore important to inform people about the environmental, social and economic forests and how to protect them from their daily lives.”

The exhibition, which has the support of the City of Cagliari, open to all and designed to offer special incentives to secondary school children, it is eco-friendly, lightweight and adaptable to any construction. It consists of 5 sections:

Feelings. The natural environment reconstructed through floral arrangements and video clips on the big screen.
Visions. Representation of an environment degraded and desertified by using sand, dead plants, waste and sound effects.
Thoughts. 30 photographic prints to evoke the relationship between man and forest in various parts of the world.
Ideas. Video-clip on the stories of living and working in rural communities in Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Chile made by photographers Marco Bello, Alessandro Rocca De Serio and directors.
Experiences. Educational and entertainment activities to deepen their knowledge of the forests and the sustainable use of resources derived (paper, wood, food …).

“The ecological impoverishment due to deforestation affects us all, so it is important to understand what to do to combat the problem,” explains the curator of the exhibition Golinelli Jordan, an expert in Development Education and Social Communication. “The workshops and audiovisual materials promote an awareness that goes beyond mere rote learning and builds on the intelligence and emotions of the participants.”
