This is the question from which Aldo Sechi, a young author Sardinian his debut in ‘Sardomachia’, historical novel – published by small publishing house Lodi Arpeggio Free – based on true events in Sardinia the Second Punic War.
A story that begins on the eve of the memorable enterprise of Hannibal (215 BC. Approx) and which stars the singer Roman Lucius Verus Viridio responsible for accompanying the console Matone in Sardinia to quell an outbreak of rebellion on the island, so that, in return, can sing as lived in those battles. Lucio, a man of pure ideals, you’ll immediately notice the dark side of his console and sympathy for it immediately vanishes, causing him to rebel against his own commander.
