Documentario sul fuoco come elemento festivo e folclorico nella cultura catalana. Descrive le origini e tratti caratteristici della festa popolare della vigilia di San Giovanni e dei falò d’Isil come esponenti massimi della cultura del fuoco nella Catalogna.

Il documento contiene un documentario sulla festa di San Giovanni; durante il mese di giugno, da tutte le parti della Catalonga, hanno luogo tante feste solstiziali, tra le quali la più tradizionale.è la notte di San Giovanni. È la notte più lunga dell’anno, magica, di streghe e spiriti maligni, d’aqua, festa e amore, che ha come elemento più caratteristico il fuoco. Raccoglie anche immagini sui falò d’Isil, una festa tradizionale di interesse nazionale che ha luogo a Isil, una piccola località nella regione del Pallars Sobirà. Consiste nell’accendimento dei falò sulla montagna e la loro discesa in paese.

The document contains a documentary on the feast of St. John, during the month of June, from all parts of the Catalonga, many festivals take place solstice, among which the most tradizionale.è the night of St. John. It is the longest night of the year, magic, witches and evil spirits of water, celebration and love, which has as its most characteristic element of fire. Also collects images on the bonfire d’Isil, a traditional festival of national interest taking place in Isil, a small town in the region of Pallars Sobirà. Nell’accendimento consists of bonfires on the mountain and their descent into the village.
