La comunità guasilese rende omaggio, nel giorno della nascita, al suo illustre figlio Mario Medas, recentemente scomparso. La giornata avrà inizio alle ore 18:30 presso la Basilica della Beata Vergine Assunta di Guasila con la Santa Messa in onore di Mario Medas. La serata proseguirà alle ore 19:45 presso il Teatro Fratelli Medas con lo spettacolo “Sa Festa Manna” di Francesca Chiu.

È la mattina di Pasqua! Mentre preparano gli ultimi accorgimenti per il pranzo, i nonni Tittinu e Mariedda attendono il resto della famiglia e le ultime notizie: è in quel giorno infatti che il Parroco annuncia alla comunità i nomi del Priore e della Priorissa che si occuperanno di preparare la festa più sentita dai guasilesi: Santa Maria, Sa festa manna. In un susseguirsi di sorprese e consuetudini ripetute, sulle note dei canti tradizionali i nonni si impegneranno perché tutto ciò che hanno conosciuto e ha scandito i passi della loro storia non vada perduto ma venga tramandato di generazione in generazione.
