In occasione del 70° anniversario dei bombardamenti su Cagliari, Federico Cozzucoli presenta la sua nuova performance S_OGGETTO, presso la Galleria Rifugio di via don Bosco. La performance si terrà Venerdì 17, Sabato 18 e Domenica 19 Maggio dalle 19 alle 21 con ingressi a turno della durata di 20 minuti circa. La prenotazione è obbligatoria, e gli accessi si effettueranno per gruppi, composti al massimo da 20 persone per volta. Il costo dell’ingresso è di 5 euro.

Durante la performance, una voce realizzata con un sintetizzatore elettronico reciterà in più lingue la pseudo biografia dell’artista:

“Dove e quando ha inizio la vera storia di Federico Cozzucoli?
Nella natia città di Messina completamente distrutta dal terremoto del 1908?
Nel suo “romanzo familiare”, che presenta grottesche vicende di ricatti ed estorsioni?
Nel suo “mistero sessuale”, fatto di perversioni e pulsioni incestuose?
O in una malintesa e improbabile Weltanschaung nietzschiano-wagneriana?
In un’odissea investigativa che si snoda tra Vienna e Monaco, Parigi e Berlino, Londra e Gerusalemme, “S_OGGETTO” esplora archivi dimenticati, memorie di galleristi anticozzucoliani dell’epoca di Weimer, e si confronta con alcuni dei più brillanti critici della nostra epoca, da Achille Bonito Oliva a Philipe Daverio, da Giancarlo Politi a Massimiliano Tonelli, fino al discusso Vittorio Sgarbi.
Il risultato è un’opera che affronta con efficacia e puntualità i molti interrogativi che dal dopoguerra sono stati al centro delle controversie tra gli storici dell’arte, professori di estetica e psicologi della forma, animati dalla volontà di scandagliare la personalità dell’artista divenuto il simbolo dell’Arte del secolo”.

Ad accompagnare l’evento, un saggio storico di Alberto Monteverde.

Successivamente alla performance, il giorno 2 Giugno festa della Repubblica, a ricordo della nuova speranza dopo i tragici fatti storici del nazi fascismo, Federico Cozzucoli terrà un laboratorio sul autoritratto presso l’Exmà dalle 9 alle 13 e dalle 16 alle 20. Gli appuntamenti, che si svolgeranno tutti nella stessa giornata, saranno quattro e dureranno due ore ciascuno. A ogni incontro parteciperà un max di 12 persone. Questo laboratorio rivolto a un utenza di ragazzi e adulti, quindi anche ai nuclei famigliari, cercherà, attraverso un metodo semplice ed immediato, di spiegare all’utente come realizzare un proprio autoritratto. Partendo da uno scatto fotografico del volto e dalla stampa di esso su un formato 10×15 B/N virato a seppia, si procederà alla riproduzione a matita in scala maggiore, tramite il processo della quadrettatura, antico metodo di disegno praticato nelle botteghe del cinquecento. In seguito, con un pennello e del caffè diluito si riprodurranno i chiaro scuri fino a realizzare un’opera il più fedele possibile alla foto di partenza. Costo euro 5 a partecipante, per i gruppi familiari di almeno tre persone il costo è 4 euro ciascuno.
