Focus sull’arte del pianoforte – da Bach al XXI secolo – con il recital di Andrea Bacchetti, che mercoledì 12 giugno alle 20.30 al MiniMax – il Ridotto del Teatro Massimo di Cagliari sfoglierà le ultime pagine dell’avvincente primavera di note nel cartellone della Stagione Concertistica 2013 degli Amici della Musica.

Ritorna nell’Isola il talentuoso e versatile artista della tastiera (con esordi da enfant prodige accanto a I Solisti Veneti diretti da Claudio Scimone) apprezzato dal pubblico televisivo per le sue performances all’interno del Chiambretti Night e applaudito dalle platee d’Italia e d’Europa (dal Teatro alla Scala di Milano al Parco della Musica di Roma e La Fenice di Venezia; dal Konzerthaus  di Berlino al Rudolfinum Dvorák Hall di Praga, passando per Parigi, Mosca e Madrid) nonché del Giappone e del Sud America, spesso ospite di festivals internazionali, per deliziare il pubblico del capoluogo con un’antologia di pezzi celebri e più rare pagine, tra virtuosismi e ammalianti melodie.

Riflettori puntati quindi sul pianista ligure, per un viaggio tra le invenzioni di Johann Sebastian Bach – dalla Toccata in mi minore BWV 914 ai due Corali Wer nun den lieben Gott läßt walten  BWV 691 e Senza Titolo BWV 846-1 all’incantevole Minuetto in sol – e Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, con l’intensa Fantasia in re minore K 397 in cui il gioco degli accordi riflette il mutare degli stati d’animo, e il fascino della melodia tradisce una segreta inquietudine.

Poi l’irrompere del Romanticismo, con la Consolazione in Re bemolle Maggiore di Franz Liszt, un piccolo gioiello musicale che evoca la dolcezza struggente e le atmosfere di un Notturno; ed è proprio un Notturno del pianista e compositore francese Louis Diémer (1843-1919), celebre virtuoso dello strumento a tastiera nonché maestro, tra gli altri, di Cortot e Casella a far da pendant alla preziosa miniatura del maestro ungherese.
Excursus nel Terzo Millennio con la prima esecuzione integrale del Klavierbuchlein (2013) del cagliaritano Lucio Garau, una raccolta di brevi composizioni che si apre con una Folia (ispirata all’Aria variata alla maniera italiana di Bach) e continua con i quattro movimenti Ostinato, Miniature, Notturno e Finale, e con brevi Passeggiate inframmezzate tra l’uno e l’altro, per concludersi  con la bbaggattella di bravura, alternando passaggi virtuosistici e accenti evocativi.

La performance di Andrea Bacchetti indaga anche i territori dell’Impressionismo in musica con due Preludi di Claude Debussy – Bruyères (Brughiere) dal  Libro II e La Cathédrale engloutie (La cattedrale sommersa) dal Libro I – per poi rientrare sui sentieri del Romanticismo con i Notturni op.9 nn. 1 e 2 e la ben nota Fantasia-Improvviso op.66 di Fryderyk Chopin (dedicata al musicista e amico Julian Fontana), tra ritmi vorticosi e la delicata poesia del tema lirico centrale, che ricorre in chiusura come segnale di quiete dopo la tempesta, a rievocare serenità e speranza nel futuro.

Suggellerà il recital del pianista ligure un omaggio all’arte di Gioachino Rossini, dai “Péchés de vieillesse”, ovvero i peccati di vecchiaia (secondo la stessa definizione dell’autore) sbocciati dalla maturità del compositore, liberi e variegati esercizi di creatività, come la suggestiva Tarantelle pur sang (aver traversée de la procession) in cui l’incalzare sfrenato della danza s’intreccia all’eco cadenzata di una processione, in un gioco di contrasti e sovrapposizioni tra solennità del rito ed esuberanze giovanili.

La Stagione Concertistica 2013 degli Amici della Musica di Cagliari proseguirà con i consueti appuntamenti con il Festival di Musica Antica, dedicato alle partiture scritte dal Medioevo al Barocco, in un significativo gioco di accostamenti con pagine recenti e contemporanee. Incentrato sulle opere composte tra XX e XXI secolo è il Festival di Musica Contemporanea, che nella precedente edizione ha suscitato un certo interesse anche oltre Tirreno e su riviste come Amadeus con il duplice omaggio a due personalità di spicco del Novecento come il maestro della musica acusmatica François Bayle e l’americano Conlon Nancarrow, e l’esecuzione, affidata a Rex Lawson, degli Studi per Pianola Meccanica di Nancarrow, uno dei pionieri dell’uso di automi meccanici in grado di superare le capacità umane. Le nuove frontiere dell’elettronica e le possibilità dell’acousmonium sono invece il tema e fil rouge del Festival di Musica Acusmatica, mentre il ciclo di concerti di musica da camer riprenderà in autunno, nella sala MiniMax del Teatro Massimo di Cagliari.

Tra le novità per il 2013, anche la diffusione via internet del XXII Concorso Internazionale di Pianoforte “Ennio Porrino”, competizione pianistica di ampio respiro organizzata dagli Amici della Musica di Cagliari, cui partecipano giovani talenti e brillanti e affermati concertisti – come l’ungherese Balázs Fülei, tra i vincitori del Porrino nel 2010, protagonista lo scorso 30 maggio al Teatro Lirico di Cagliari per il XIII  Festival di Sant’Efisio. Sarà infatti possibile assistere tramite la rete alle  varie prove e alla serata finale della competizione, ospitata tradizionalmente sul prestigioso palcoscenico del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari,  e perfino “scaricare” le singole esecuzioni.

Focus on the art of piano – from Bach to the twenty-first century – with the recital of Andrea Bacchetti, that Wednesday, June 12 at 20:30 to the MiniMax – the foyer of the Teatro Massimo di Cagliari dell’avvincente spring leaf through the last few pages of notes in the bill of Season 2013 Concert of the Friends of Music.

Back on the island, the talented and versatile artist of the keyboard (with beginnings as a child prodigy next to I Solisti Veneti, conducted by Claudio Scimone) appreciated by the television audiences for her performances in the Chiambretti Night and applauded by audiences in Italy and d ‘Europe (from the Teatro alla Scala in Milan at the Parco della Musica in Rome and La Fenice in Venice, the Konzerthaus in Berlin at the Rudolfinum Dvorak Hall in Prague, via Paris, Moscow and Madrid), as well as Japan and South America, a frequent guest of international festivals, to delight audiences with an anthology of the capital and the most famous pieces of rare pages, between virtuosity and haunting melodies.

The spotlight then on the Ligurian pianist, for a journey through the inventions of Johann Sebastian Bach – Toccata in E minor BWV from the 914 to the two choirs Wer nun den lieben Gott läßt walten BWV 691 and BWV 846-1 Untitled enchanting Minuet in G – and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with the intense Fantasia in D minor K 397 in which the game of agreements reflects the changing moods, and the charm of the melody betrays a secret uneasiness.

Then the eruption of Romanticism, with the Consolation in D-flat Major by Franz Liszt, a little gem of music that evokes the poignant sweetness and atmosphere of a Nocturne, and it is a French composer and pianist of the Night Louis Diémer (1843-1919 ), a famous virtuoso of the keyboard instrument and teacher, among others, of Cortot and box to make a companion piece to the precious miniature of the Hungarian master.
Excursus into the third millennium with the first complete performance of the Klavierbuchlein (2013) of Cagliari Lucio Garau, a collection of short compositions opens with a Folia (inspired by the Aria varied in the Italian manner of Bach) and continues with the four movements Ostinato, Miniature, Night Scene and Finale, and interspersed with short walks between the one and the other, ending up with the bbaggattella Skill, alternating virtuoso passages and evocative accents.

The performance of Andrea Bacchetti also investigates the territories of Impressionism in music with two Preludes by Claude Debussy – Bruyeres (Moors) from Book II and La Cathédrale engloutie (The submerged cathedral) from the Book I – and then back on the trails of Romanticism with the Night op.9 nn. 1 and 2 and the well-known Fantaisie-Impromptu Op.66 Fryderyk Chopin (dedicated to the musician and friend Julian Fontana), among swirling rhythms and the delicate poetry of the central lyrical theme, which occurs in closing as a sign of calm after the storm, to evoke serenity and hope for the future.

Will seal the recital by the pianist Ligurian an homage to the art of Gioachino Rossini, from “Péchés de viellesse” or the sins of old age (according to the same definition as the author) blossomed on the maturity of the composer, free and varied exercises in creativity, as the striking Tarantelle pur sang (he traversée de la procession) in which the pressure of unbridled dance interwoven rhythmic echo of a procession, in a game of contrasts and overlaps between solemnity of the rite and youthful exuberance.

The 2013 Concert Season of the Friends of Music in Cagliari continue with the usual appointments with the Early Music Festival, dedicated to the scores written from the Middle Ages to the Baroque, in a meaningful game of matching pages with recent and contemporary. Focused on the works composed between the twentieth and twenty-first century is the Festival of Contemporary Music, which in the previous edition has also been some interest over the Tyrrhenian Sea and in magazines such as Amadeus, with the dual tribute to two outstanding personalities of the twentieth century as the master of acousmatic music François Bayle and the American Conlon Nancarrow, and execution, headed by Rex Lawson, the mechanics Nancarrow Studies for Player Piano, one of the pioneers of the use of mechanical automata able to overcome human capabilities. The new frontiers of electronics and the possibilities are dell’acousmonium the theme and leitmotif of the Festival of Music Acusmatica, while the cycle of music concerts camer will resume in the fall, in the hall of the Teatro Massimo MiniMax of Cagliari.

Among the changes for 2013, also spread via the Internet of the XXII International Piano Competition “Ennio Porrino” piano competition organized by broad Friends of Music in Cagliari, involving young and brilliant talent and established performers – such as the Hungarian Balázs Fulei, among the winners of Porrino in 2010, starring on May 30th at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari for the XIII Festival of Sant’Efisio. It will be possible to attend via the network to the various tests and the final night of competition, traditionally hosted on the prestigious stage of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, and even “download” the individual performances.
