RASSEGNA DI FAVOLE MUSICALI: PINOCCHIO – CONSERVATORIO DI CAGLIARI – LUNEDI 2 DICEMBRE 2013LITTLE SUITE FOR PIANO – CAGLIARI CONSERVATORY – MONDAY DECEMBER 2

Con la favola di Pinocchio, nella versione musicata da Ettore Pozzoli, autore della famosa “Piccola Suite per pianoforte”, adattata da Giacomo Medas, prosegue lunedì 2 dicembre alle ore 17:00, la rassegna Le Favole Musicali organizzata dal Conservatorio di Cagliari e dall’associazione Incontri Musicali, in programma all’Auditorium del Conservatorio fino al 20 dicembre. La voce recitante di Mariano Cirina assieme all’Orchestra del Conservatorio diretta da Nicola Musa ripercorrerà le avventure del famoso burattino di legno, dai primi passi tra le mani di Geppetto alla trasformazione in bambino dopo l’incontro con i noti personaggi usciti dalle pagine e dalla fantasia di Collodi.

La rassegna Le Favole Musicali proseguirà (spettacoli alle ore 17:00 e la mattina per le scuole) con il Piccolo Spazzacamino di Benjamin Britten lunedì 9 dicembre. Sul palco il Complesso da camera del Conservatorio diretto da Giacome Medas e il coro giovanile Città di Quartu della Maestra Laura Porceddu.

Considerato dall’autore un semplice divertimento ad uso famigliare e per gli amici, Il carnevale degli animali, la più conosciuta tra le opere di Saint Saëns, sarà in scena sabato 14 dicembre con la voce recitante di Mariano Cirina. Il carnevale degli animali è stato composto nel 1886 in occasione di una festa di carnevale tra amici musicisti, e descrive in modo divertente ed ironico le caratteristiche di alcuni animali facendo anche la caricatura di alcuni personaggi (i pianisti e i critici musicali) legati all’attività di Saint Saëns.

Lunedì 16 dicembre è la volta di “Pierino e il Lupo” di Prokofiev, con l’Orchestra del Conservatorio “G.P. da Palestrina” diretta da Stella Porrà, in collaborazione con il centro Down Cagliari e con la voce recitante di Cirina. In chiusura, mercoledì 18 e la mattina di venerdì 20 dicembre La Serva padrona, intermezzo buffo di Giovan Battista Pergolesi con la soprano Elisabetta Scano e il basso Nicola Ebau ed il complesso cameristico del Conservatorio diretto da Giacomo Medas.Monday, December 2 at 17 at the Conservatory of Cagliari.
