Procede spedita l’organizzazione del prossimo Rally di Sardegna di Mountain Bike che si svolgerà dal 9 al 15 giugno

La novità è l’ingresso  prestigioso del Comune di Fonni  tra le sedi di tappa, grazie anche all’Assessore allo Sport Marco Cualbu. Fonni è stata protagonista in questi anni  di prestigiose manifestazioni  culturali come il Carnevale e Pastorias. Cittadina  della Barbagia più autentica e nota come Porta del Gennargentu, Fonni è adagiata sulle pendici settentrionali del Gennargentu, a 1000 metri s.l.m., ed  è la località più alta della Sardegna.

Benvenuti a Fonni!. Fonni è l’unica località dove e possibile sciare nei mesi invernali grazie agli impianti del Bruncu Spina con un progetto di riqualificazione della fruizione della montagna di alto valore turistico e culturale. Ed a Fonni sarà grande festa per l’arrivo di una carovana internazionale con atleti del bike provenienti da tutti i continenti che conoscono la Sardegna più autentica attraverso una manifestazione diventato uno strumento di marketing di promozione della nostra isola da vivere in maniera “green” con la fruizione del territorio nella maniera più semplice sulle due ruote di una bicicletta.

Fonni sarà la sede della terza tappa: la carovana arriva il giorno 12 giugno con la prova  più lunga del Rally che partirà da Arzana ed attraverserà il Gennargentu con il suggestivo passaggio a Punta La Marmora (1834 mt. Ss.l.m), la vetta più alta dell’isola. La vetta porta il nome del generale e scienziato Alberto Ferrero della Marmora, che descrisse l’Isola in due opere scientifico-letterarie: Voyage en Sardaigne, del 1826 e Itinéraire de l’île de Sardaigne, del 1860. Il toponimo della montagna, nella lingua sarda, era Perdas Carpìas che significa pietre spaccate per via della natura scistosa delle sue rocce che tendono a frantumarsi.

Moving forward the organization of the next Rally of Sardinia Mountain Bike which will be held June 9 to 15

The novelty is the entrance of the prestigious City of Fonni between the offices of the stage, thanks to the Councillor for Sport Mark Cualbu. Fonni has enjoyed in recent years of prestigious cultural events such as Carnival and Pastorias. Town of Barbagia most authentic and known as Porta del Gennargentu Fonni lies on the northern slopes of the Gennargentu, 1000 meters above sea level and is the highest resort in Sardinia.

Welcome to Fonni!. Fonni is the only place where you can ski in the winter months thanks to the systems of Bruncu Spina with a redevelopment project of the use of the mountain of high-value tourism and culture. And Fonni will be a big party for the arrival of a caravan with international athletes bike from all continents who know the real Sardinia through an event become a marketing tool to promote our island to live in a “green” with the use of the territory in the simplest way on the two wheels of a bicycle.

Fonni will host the third stage: the caravan arrives on 12 June with the longest test of the rally will start from Arzana and go through the Gennargentu with the striking passage in Punta La Marmora (1834 mt. Ss.lm), the highest high island. The peak is named after the general and scientist Alberto Ferrero della Marmora, who described the island in two scientific and literary works: Voyage en Sardaigne, the 1826 Itinéraire de l’île de Sardaigne, 1860. The name of the mountain, in the Sardinian language, was Perdas Carpìas which means stones split due to the nature of its schistose rocks which tend to shatter.
