Ancora pochi giorni per visitare la mostra Quando l’idea incontra il gesto, arte e artigianato artistico in Sardegna che chiude, dopo la proroga, domenica 3 novembre.
Ospitata dal 25 luglio, nelle settecentesche sale del Centro Comunale Il Ghetto, la mostra è curata da Simona Campus, allestita su progetto di Sabrina Cuccu dal Teatro Lirico di Cagliari e prodotta dal Consorzio Camù.
L’esposizione ha conquistato, nei circa tre mesi di apertura, non solo l’attenzione del pubblico locale, ma anche e soprattutto dei tanti turisti presenti in città grazie all’arrivo delle navi da crociera.
Un interesse che ha riguardato anche il nuovo store, che offre la possibilità di acquistare numerosi prodotti artigianali e artistici in gran parte realizzati appositamente per la mostra.
Il percorso espositivo, nell’allestimento progettato da Sabrina Cuccu e realizzato dalla Fondazione del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari, che curano anche il restyling del nuovo punto vendita del Centro, propone opere firmate da ventisette artisti e distribuite in tre sezioni tematiche dialoganti fra loro e riunite attorno alla figura e all’opera di Maria Lai, artista d’eccellenza recentemente scomparsa, cui la mostra rende implicitamente omaggio, fuori da ogni retorica. Ogni sezione si apre con un riferimento alla tradizione e alle tecniche artigianali provenienti dal passato: la panificazione, la tessitura, il cucito; quelle stesse tecniche che nelle opere di Maria Lai subiscono un rinnovamento radicale e acquistano un significato inedito.
In mostra opere di Edina, Iride e Lavinia Altara, Tosino Anfossi, Italo Antico, Giuseppe Biasi, Luciano Bonino, Zaza Calzia, Francesco Ciusa, Giovanni Ciusa Romagna, Nietta Condemi De Felice, Maria Crespellani, Salvatore Fancello, Francesco Farci, Caterina Lai, Maria Lai, Mauro Manca, Carolina Melis, Federico Melis, Wanda Nazzari, Costantino Nivola, Antonello Ottonello, Eugenia Pinna, Ciriaco Piras, Rosanna Rossi, Eugenio Tavolara, Piero Zedde.
Numerose e prestigiose le istituzioni pubbliche e private che hanno prestato le loro opere: Fondazione Banco di Sardegna, Banca di Sassari, Musei Civici di Cagliari, Camera di Commercio di Nuoro, ISRE Sardegna, Museo del Pane Rituale di Borore, Museo Sardo di Antropologia e Etnografia (Università di Cagliari) e Comune di Nule. A queste si aggiungono i ventuno privati che hanno consentito, con importanti prestiti di arricchire l’ampia panoramica di opere e artisti.
Un ringraziamento speciale va all’Unione Italiana Ciechi e Ipovedenti Onlus di Cagliari che hanno tradotto il testo introduttivo della mostra in Braille.
Con la collaborazione dell’Associazione Arteficio il nuovo store costituisce quasi una mostra nella mostra e, oltre prodotti di artigianato artistico con opere provenienti da numerosi centri dell’Isola, presenta anche una nutrita e qualificata selezione di pubblicazioni editoriali dedicate agli artisti e alle sezioni tematiche presenti in mostra.

La mostra è visitabile dal martedì alla domenica, con orario continuato, dalle ore 9 alle 20. Lunedì chiusura settimanale.

Hosted by the 25th of July, in the eighteenth-century rooms of the Municipal Center The Ghetto , the exhibition is curated by Simona Campus , set on a project by Sabrina Cuccu from the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari and produced by the Consortium Camu .
The show has won , in about three months of opening , not only the attention of the local public , but also the many tourists in the city thanks to the arrival of cruise ships.
An interest that has also affected the new store , which offers the opportunity to buy many crafts and paintings mostly made especially for the exhibition .
The exhibition , designed by Sabrina in setting Cuccu and produced by Fondazione del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari , who also take care of the restyling of the new store in the center , offers works signed by twenty-seven artists and distributed into three thematic sections dialoguing with each other and together around the figure and work of Maria Lai, artist par excellence who recently passed away , where the exhibition pays homage implicitly , beyond any rhetoric. Each section opens with a reference to the tradition and craftsmanship from the past : bread making , weaving , sewing , those same techniques in the works of Maria Lai undergo a radical renewal and acquire a new meaning .

Numerous prestigious public and private institutions who have lent their works : Fondazione Banco di Sardegna Sassari Bank , Civic Museum of Cagliari , Chamber of Commerce of Nuoro , Sardinia ISRE , Museum of Bread Ritual Borore Sardo Museum of Anthropology and ethnography (University of Cagliari) and the City of Nule . In addition there are twenty-one individuals who have made it possible , with important loans to enrich the wide survey of works and artists.
A special thanks goes to the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired non-profit organization of Cagliari who translated the introductory text of the exhibition in Braille.
With the collaboration of Arteficio the new store is almost a show within a show , and in addition products of arts and crafts works from numerous centers of the island , also has a substantial and qualified selection of editorial publications dedicated to artists and thematic sections in the exhibition .

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday , with a lunch break from 9am to 20. Monday Closed .
