Delitti, colpi di scena e depistaggi. Si tinge di giallo il nuovo romanzo di Gianni Marilotti L’Errore, edito da Maestrale (212 pagg, 16 euro). E’ la luce di una Cagliari mai citata a far da sfondo e ambientazione alla vicenda, dove il fil rouge è l’inquietante gioco di luci e colori, caverne, cimiteri e anfratti. Labirinti fisici e della mente, meandri della psiche tutti da sondare per investigatori ed inquirenti.

L’Errore – copertina libro di Gianni MarilottiC’è attesa per la seconda fatica letteraria dello scrittore cagliaritano che sarà presentato a Cagliari sabato 16 marzo al Minimax del Teatro Massimo, in viale Trento, alle ore 17,30. Oltre all’autore saranno presenti in qualità di relatori Giovanna Caltagirone, docente di Letteratura italiana moderna e contemporanea presso l’Università di Cagliari e l’attore Giacomo Casti. Le letture di brani scelti sono affidate alla voce della cantante e attrice cagliaritana Clara Murtas.

Il libro arriva dieci anni dopo “La quattordicesima commensale”,data alle stampe nel 2003 sempre con la casa editrice nuorese e che gli valse ben due importanti riconoscimenti nazionali: nel 2004 il Premio Calvino e nel 2005 il Premio Rusconi. Lasciati gli scenari storico politici degli anni di piombo mirabilmente ricostruiti nell’opera d’esordio lo scrittore stavolta s’immerge nelle atmosfere mediterranee del capoluogo sardo, affascinante scenografia costruita come una giostra di chiaroscuri.

E intricata appare la trama, dove i fili si riannodano per offrire un finale a sorpresa. Filippo Mò è affetto da disturbi della personalità, sente voci, vive in un mondo tutto suo. Facile individuare in lui il primo sospettato di un delitto scoperto nel cimitero monumentale di Bonaria, a Cagliari. E’ solo uno dei protagonisti del volume che gioca sull’ambiguità del titolo. L’ispettore Alessandro Manno e il Pm Vincenzo Vischio indagano su due delitti che seguono a distanza ravvicinata. L’architettura dell’intreccio complessa ma godibile e scorrevole, pagina dopo pagina, inchioda il lettore in un crescendo di complicanze che dilatano e stringono il campo creando un effetto palpitante.

Alle sequenze narrative si alterna il diario di Filippo e la sua vita fatua e creativa, che fugge al disagio della realtà, tesa ad inseguire le voci di una città in cui ogni luogo ha un sussurro, un respiro, uno sguardo e ogni quartiere si staglia sino a materializzarsi spiritualmente. “Lo scrittore costruisce una storia tesa e volutamente imperfetta, creando personaggi letterari dai differenti spessori, a volte di proposito li disegna maldestri e senza snaturare la loro ordinaria banalità. Sui panni di ciascun attore l’autore cuce i diversi registri linguistici”.

Gianni Marilotti vive a Cagliari dove insegna Storia e Filosofia nei licei. Impegnato sul fronte della cooperazione mediterranea è curatore del volume L’Italia e il Nord Africa, Carocci 2006. Collabora a diverse riviste specializzate. Nel 2004 ha esordito nella narrativa per Il Maestrale con il romanzo La quattordicesima commensale (Premio Calvino e Premio Lettori del Giovedì Marisa Rusconi).
