POSADA FESTIVAL – POSADA – 13 TO 18 AUGUST

From May 13 to August 18, 2012 meeting with the ‘class entertainment and culture. We Posada Sardinia, near the Costa Smeralda and the suggestion is to offer beautiful evening, full of art and emotions, to ‘internal walls of the ancient fortress of Posada. The Festival Posada wants to be a musical journey through history and literature and cinema.

Every night at 21 the reading of “The Lady of the Camellias” entitled misguided, or women who inspired Alexandre Dumas fils (1848). The reading will be held by Clara Murtas, Sardinian singer actress and author, will have as its backdrop and the Little Su Turrione Amphitheater in Old Town, accompanied by musician Silvia Charter. The highly anticipated production of “Traviata,” opera in three acts by Giuseppe Verdi in 1853 on a libretto by Francesco Maria Piave, based on the play by Alexandre Dumas, La Dame aux Camélias of 1852, when Verdi attended the Théâtre du Vaudeville in Paris, probably together with the ‘beloved Josephine Strepponi. Work among the most performed and loved in the world. And yet ‘accativante selection of films of the last century mainly devoted to opera and misguided.
