PLAY ON THE ROAD! – CAGLIARI – SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 9 and 16

Sunday, August 26 at 17.30, the Embankment of Cagliari, began “play in the street!”, The event promoted by the playful recreational and cultural associations Madeintrash Pangea, and the space substudy, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cagliari, Department of Social .

The proposed activities will take place during three Sunday afternoons: August 26, 9 and 16 September. During each round children, teens, parents and grandparents will participate in three creative workshops and, concurrently engage with games on the road.

Fun and games with no age limit! Space comes alive Embankment becoming a big playground where everyone can interact and appreciate the simplicity and richness of being together having fun, enjoying the city reclaiming the space it offers.

The workshops and games offered will be a meeting point between different generations, with the aim of promoting recovery and the exchange of knowledge both ancient and recent, contributing to the transmission of techniques and knowledge that children can share with their friends and adults teach themselves to children.

Sunday, September 9

The small shop puppeteer
5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Creative workshop for children and adults dedicated to building puppets with recycled materials such as old clothes, cotton socks, wool and buttons will change shape in our hands and will create an original puppet. With simple materials easily found at home, children can get close to the important theme of recycling and at the same time create a beautiful toy that will be able to play at home and with the help of their parents.

We play in the street!

Pincaro or Campana, One two three star, Blindman’s Buff, the flag game, The beautiful statues, the telephone, Hula Hoop, The game of the elastic, Pinocchio does the job, Biccus, Rope, On de giogu of sedazzeddu, Zacca and ask, Mini bowls tournaments and balls, the game caps and more. All together with the rediscovery of the traditional games of the road! One way to recover and transmit the traditions of simplicity and emotion of the easy creation.

Artists, curators and guides for art exhibitions
5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Creative workshop for children and adults dedicated to creating objects, works of art and the staging of an exhibition. Participants will be involved not only in the creation of works, but also in the activities of the organization, promotion and realization of the path of a guided tour of their own shows. Preference will be given to support the natural elements staging.
