Il 24, il 25 e il 27 giugno al cine-teatro “Nanny Loy” di Cagliari a partire dalle ore 20,30 si terrà la proiezione delle 30 opere selezionate (8 documentari e 22 cortometraggi). Serata finale il 27 giugno con inizio alle 21,00 che vedrà la premiazione e la proiezione delle opere vincitrici e di alcune fuori concorso.
L’ingresso è gratuito.

L’iniziativa è stata ideata e promossa dal Circolo Universitario Cinematografico Notorius in collaborazione con il CELCAM (Centro per l’Educazione ai Linguaggi del Cinema, degli Audiovisivi e della Multimedialità) con il patrocinio del Corso di laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione di Cagliari (Facoltà di Scienze della formazione).

Il Notorius Film Festival è un concorso che, seppur realizzato con risorse minime con i soli fondi ERSU e dell’Università di Cagliari, ha riscosso un incredibile successo andando oltre le aspettative e le previsioni degli organizzatori. Oltre 120 infatti le opere che hanno partecipato, dirette da giovani registi di diverse nazionalità, tra cui spicca il cortometraggio vincitore del David di Donatello 2013, “L’esecuzione” di Enrico Iannaccone.
Un ottimo risultato che sottolinea il direttore artistico Marco Spiga: « Abbiamo dimostrato anche quest’anno che, nonostante avessimo a disposizione un budget ridicolo per organizzare un concorso del genere, la risposta della gente per questo tipo di iniziative culturali è sempre crescente, c’è una voglia matta di “fare” cultura, peccato che a tale richiesta si faccia sempre meno attenzione. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di far si che Cagliari diventi un centro di fermento culturale, un punto di riferimento internazionale per i giovani studentiregisti, cosa che ai molti può sembrare pura utopia, ma che, numeri alla mano, saremmo in grado di realizzare se solo avessimo il giusto contributo economico dalle istituzioni».

La giuria che decreterà i vincitori assoluti della manifestazione prevede la presenza di Gianmarco Diana (bassista dei Sikitikis), Paolo Mastino (giornalista del Tg3), Micaela Cauterucci (studentessa e rappresentante Notorius), Silvia Perra (studentessa al CNC di Roma, recente vincitrice del premio della critica al MUSA 2013).
