A Natale la città si colora e si veste per la festa, luci, alberi, giardini incantati abitano le stradine acciottolate della città antica che si riempiono di vita e di allegria.

Dall’ 8 dicembre, per tutto il mese, spettacoli musicali, rassegne cinematografiche, teatro di strada, rassegne di arti e installazioni urbane animano la città aspettando la notte del 31, giorno della grande festa.
Ad accogliervi una magica aria di festa, un calendario ricco di appuntamenti, un continuo rimando tra sacro e profano per una vacanza dal tipico sapore natalizio all’insegna del divertimento, del gusto e del relax

La calda e accogliente atmosfera che colora la città fino al giorno dell’epifania è ideale per scoprire il cuore dell’antico borgo tra antiche vie, palazzi d’epoca, botteghe artigiane, boutique e atelier esclusivi in un itinerario tra storia, tradizioni e… shopping.

Per i più golosi non mancano le occasioni per degustare il meglio dei nostri prodotti tipici. L’8 e 9 dicembre Piazza Pino Piras si colora con il mercatino di artigianato e di sapori dell’Isola, mentre dal 21 il mercatino enogastronomico “Gusto Catalano” ci propone un viaggio alla scoperta dei più rinomati sapori di Alghero e della Catalogna.

Con Una Notte al mercato, nella splendida cornice del vecchio mercato ortofrutticolo, in scena gli chef del territorio per proporci le loro fantasiose creazioni da accompagnare con il meglio dei vini delle cantine di Alghero.

Ancora un appuntamento all’insegna dei sapori con “Mangiar y Beura a l’Alguer”, degustazioni guidate dei prodotti del territorio (olio, vino, riccio di mare, ortaggi e pane) per grandi e piccini.

Sapori e preistoria si incontrano nell’Aperitivo nuragico dove differenti itinerari archeologici ed enogastronomici raccontano la storia di un territorio abitato da sempre.

Tanti poi in città i ristoranti, le trattorie e wine bar che propongono menù e iniziative speciali durante tutto il mese di dicembre. Fuori città sarà l’atmosfera accogliente e familiare degli agriturismo a regalarvi l’esperienza dei sapori autentici del natale.

Per una vacanza in famiglia sono diversi gli spazi dedicati ai più piccoli: laboratori, visite guidate, spettacoli, reading e concerti, tra giochi e simpatici racconti.

Per gli amanti del cinema d’autore tanti gli appuntamenti proposti dalla rassegna Visions Off che, tra cinema, musica, arti visive e teatro, ci propone un affascinante punto di vista sulla tematica della “visione”.

E poi la musica. Dai canti della tradizione, per le vie e le chiese cittadine, alla musica etnica, al funky passando per il jazz&dintorni con le suggestive note di “Musica dai balconi”, nel cuore della città antica.
