NARCAO BLUES FESTIVAL – ROSIE LEDET – SATURDAY AUGUST 25

The festival will begin Thursday, August 23 and will drop the curtain Saturday, August 25.
Three days of great music with performers of the international art scene.

Each day will offer two concerts, concert starts at 21:30 Europe Square – Narcao.

Rosie Ledet & Zydeco Sweetheart have rapidly become
the reference point on the circuit zydeco.
Full of elusive sensuality, Rosie’s music is fresh
and bold while maintaining links with the heritage
its bayou Creole.
Rosie has a rare combination of talent, not only in
zydeco world, but in any musical genre. he wrote
songs of great quality awarded with the Award, without
never lose the ability to hang his instrument
and sing in a circle around with his friends and peers.
Rosie is among the few artists who still sing and write
part of their material in Creole Zydeco
French.
The Zydeco born at the end of the nineteenth century, the ethnicity of language
French Creole, south / west of Louisiana, as
dance music, integrating waltz, blues, rock and roll and
many dance music of the time.
Today, the evolution of the Zydeco continuous, integrating
even more genres such as reggae, r & b, soul and other genres
that are adding to the traditional forms.
Rosie Ledet is the perfect amalgam and one of the best
ambassadors of all these genres enclosed in a single
name: ZYDECO Creole music.
