MOSTRA D’ARTE CONTEMPORANEA – EXMA’ – CAGLIARI – 12 OTTOBRE-12 GENNAIO 2014EXHIBITIONS CONTEMPORARY ART – EXMA’ – CAGLIARI – OCTOBER 12 TO JANUARY 12,2014

Nella Sala della Torretta all’Exma’, dal 12 ottobre 2013 al 12 gennaio 2014 saranno ospitate una serie di mostre d’arte contemporanea.
Il primo progetto espositivo è di Enrico Pitzianti “Internet :O” e si avvale della collaborazione di Cairns e Jon Vaughn e il suono di Akio Takemoto, organizzata con il contributo dell’Associazione Progetto Contemporaneo e MEME arte contemporanea e prossima. La mostra nasce dal progetto artistico Cairnss realizzato nel 2012 dallo stesso Pitzianti con Enrico Piras.
I prossimi appuntamenti ospiteranno Cristina Meloni dal 15 novembre al 1 dicembre; Paolo Carta dal 6 al 22 dicembre e infine Carlo Spiga dal 28 dicembre al 12 gennaio 2014.

# LA MOSTRA #
Internet :O) – come precisa l’artista – nasce, appunto, da riflessioni e spunti in merito al web e al modello culturale a rete provenienti da testi di semiotica della cultura (Lotman, Eco, Lorusso) e geografia (Farinelli), oltre che dalla fortuna di aver presentato e discusso queste idee con Cristina Demaria, Francesco Marsciani e Patrizia Violi. Internet oltre che un mezzo tecnologico e un apparato comunicativo è un complesso meccanismo di produzione culturale, velocissimo incessante e continuo, esso ibrida, mescola e decontestualizza continuamente. Difetti enormi come l’assoluta mancanza di revisione, scrematura e gerarchizazzione delle informazioni ne fanno un’inaffidabile arma conoscitiva, pregi altrettanto importanti come la democratizzazione dei mezzi di produzione culturale e informativa lo rendono un elemento di svolta nell’economia, nella cultura, nell’informazione e naturalmente nella produzione artistica contemporanea.
Questa mostra vuole essere una piccola fotografia di questo processo così comune e così vario, una breve testimonianza delle caratteristiche del web e della sua influenza: annullare gli spazi innanzitutto, permettere a chiunque di avere costanti scambi con fruitori della rete lontanissimi senza difficoltà o intoppi economici. Ecco perché dall’Italia al Canada il legante è ibridazione, informalità e velocità. Oltre me, sono di diritto parte integrante e attiva di questa serie di processi Cairns, essendo di per se stesso un blog e uno scambio, e Jon Vaughn.
