MOSAIC – EXMA’ – UNTIL 24 JUNE

Mosaic is an exhibition of mosaics is a project of Emilie Baudrais mosaic, created in collaboration with the Consortium Camu.
The exhibition presents a collection of thirty paintings and jewelry mosaic and copper but also an opportunity to see “live” the job of making a mosaic. Emilie Baudrais transfer in fact part of his own laboratory in the exhibition hall to allow the public to follow the work.
They are an integral part of the workshops held by the artist shows that, for the duration of exposure, it will make available to show the public the tools, materials and techniques. The workshops allow you to discover the link between the ancient technique of mosaic and modern mandala creation and develop a progressive and controlled, resulting in a work of meditation is to do that in looking at.
The aim is also to allow the public to approach the problems of recycling art, assembling pieces of different materials, colors and sizes, creating a harmonious end. The final mosaic will depict a great mandala of rocks, stones, stained glass and recycled materials.
The exhibition will also include the possibility it offers to the mosaic art, and rediscover a lost art, or completely unknown to many, especially in its contemporary creative aspects.

Workshops The workshops for adults will be held on Wednesday mornings, Wednesday afternoons and Saturday afternoons throughout the exhibition period. Will be a total of 12 appointments that are aimed at creating a single large mandala mosaic. Emilie Baudrais young French mosaic artist, after a degree in fine arts at the University of Bordeaux, received by the greatest masters the secrets of the Friuli Mosaic ancient and modern at the Mosaic School of Friuli. Now lives in Sardinia and offers the public to enter his charming world of reflections and precious materials on which the light and the optical synthesis play a role.
