Mostra di mobili di due artigiani Antonio Nivola e Pierpaolo Ziranu dal 27 marzo 2013 al THotel.

I due protagonisti della mostra si raccontano nelle loro creazioni dando vita a all’unione tra legno e ferro, accomunati dalla aspirazione a rielaborare la vecchia tradizione artigiana del centro Sardegna in un linguaggio del tutto nuovo.
Antonio Nivola, un artigiano barbaricino che il legno lo conosce bene: legno massello stagionato che ridisegna echi delle arti applicate dei primi del ‘900. Ogni dettaglio è pensato e realizzato con certosina perizia. Primitivismo, cromie calde, geometrie avare di un design asciutto che riconduce al più sobrio minimalismo. Forme limpide che spezzano il respiro per la rara bellezza. È la tradizione ripensata con occhi nuovi, progettata e proiettata nel e per il futuro.
Corre sulla trama intessuta da generazioni dalla sua famiglia, Pierpaolo Ziranu, artista del ferro. Linee asciutte e sinuose, come le chiome degli alberi modellati dal maestrale, vento che illimpidisce l’aria e che scarnifica le fronde. L’essenzialità dei profili negli arredi e nei diversi complementi: letti, portariviste, lampade, portaoggetti. Coraggioso interprete di una maestria imperitura di fronte al tempo, che riempie gli occhi e il cuore di chi vi sa leggere la straordinaria magia dell’arte, tramandata di padre in figlio.
