Benvenuti all’incontro di 3 artisti all’apparenza diversi tra loro, ma

accomunati dalla stessa volontà di portare l’osservatore a

meditare e a chiedersi come ormai sia la realtà che lo circonda,

una realtà, la nostra, che tarda a svegliarsi e a lasciarsi il passato

alle spalle.

Tra prospettive rivoluzionarie verso l’ordine costituito, satira

sociale ,sarcasmo, contraddizioni della vita e opere meditative;

siete invitati a partecipare ad un viaggio che vi porterà all’interno

di una realtà soggettiva in continua evoluzione e che cerca di

sovvertire l’autoritarismo del mercato artistico.

BIO:

Piercarlo Carella
Nasce nel 1971. Vive e lavora a Cagliari.
Diplomato al liceo artistico di cagliari e laureato all’Accademia delle Belle Arti a Firenze.
Dal 1992 espone in Italia e negli Stati Uniti.
Nel 2001 ha lavorato con la Stanford University Press, realizzando la copertina per il libro di Brett levinson: “The ends of literature. The latin- American boom in the neoliberal marketplace”.
Nel 2002 alla Biennale Internazionale d’Arte di Ferrara riceve la menzione d’onore.
Pubblica per diverse riviste tra le quali Antique children, Virus, Inside Artzine, Neuroblasto.
Dal 2008 lavora come make-up artist per videoclip musicali ,performances teatrali, di danza e per il Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.
Ha Insegnato arte presso alcune suole pubbliche e terminata l’esperienza come insegnante, trasforma la sua passione per l’insegnamento in un’attività indipendente, tuttora tiene lezioni private di disegno, anatomia, pittura e storia dell’arte nel suo studio
L’ultimo progetto al quale lavora attualmente è la serie “Barbarians!”, dove l’umanità viene rappresentata senza accezioni romantiche nel suo stadio evolutivo attuale, ancora “primitivo e infantile”.In accordo con l’impegno che mira ad una ritrovata realtà e sincerità espressiva. Dove l’artista si trasforma in un cinico narratore di ciò che è costretto a vedere.
“Preferisco considerare necessariamente i miei ultimi lavori, come delle armi sempre più potenti e affilate, piuttosto che relegarli al ruolo di forme espressive che diano unicamente piacere all’osservatore”

Francesco “Checco” Frongia Nasce a Cagliari nel 1972, oggi vive e lavora a Firenze.
Illustratore
Ha pubblicato per il mensile “ Scuola di Fumetto” (2004), per la rivista “Par condicio”(2004) e “Pulp libri” (2005).
Ha collaborato con lo studio ”Inventario” di Giuseppe Palumbo realizzando illustrazioni per l’editoria scolastica (Cappelli Editore,Zanichelli) (2004-2006).
Ha pubblicato: il libro illustrato “Materiali ai margini di un viaggio” Double Shot 2008, una storia a fumetti per l’albo collettivo “Fascia Protetta” Double Shot 2009.
Ha partecipato a svariate mostre collettive di arte contemporanea, tra cui ”Appare quando può” Cittadella dei musei, Cagliari 2000.
Dal 2003 collabora con lo studio di decorazione “Artemisiarestauro” di Firenze, per la realizzazione di affreschi e acquarelli.
Dal 2005 insegna “Tecniche d’inchiostrazione” sotto la direzione di Marco Bianchini alla “Scuola Internazionale di Comics” di Firenze.

Andrea Colombu nasce a Cagliari nel 1973 dove vive e lavora.
Studia inizialmente a Cagliari ma a metà degli anni 90, si trasferisce a Perugia, dove frequenta l’accademia delle belle Arti Pietro Vannuci.
I primi lavori sono di quel decennio, e le tematiche iniziali che li caratterizzano risentono fortemente dell’influenza culturale e artistica della pittura gestuale Italiana.
Con il passare del tempo la sua attività pittorica si distacca decisamente dal filone iniziale e la sua arte assume caratteri più contemporanei e minimalisti, dove la materia diventa elemento fondamentale nel suo fare artistico.
Durante la sua permanenza a Perugia espone per alcune importanti mostre e gallerie:
Arte Contemporanea 10 Arte/Scienza di Pace, MUDITAC/MAJORANA-ROMA ;

Nel 2000 abbandona completamente l’uso della meteria per affrontare nuove tecniche e processi compositivi, come la fotografia, la grafica vettoriale e il disegno, processi quotidiani che assumono carattere meditativo e che prendono spunto dalla realtà che lo circonda.

BIO:

Piercarlo Carella
He was born in 1971. Lives and works in Cagliari.
A graduate of the art school of Cagliari and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
Since 1992 he exhibited in Italy and the United States.
In 2001 he worked with Stanford University Press, creating the cover for the book by Brett levinson: “The ends of literature. The Latin-American neoliberal boom in the marketplace. “
In 2002, the International Biennial of Art in Ferrara receives honorable mention.
Public for several magazines including Antique children, Virus, Inside Artzine, neuroblast.
Since 2008 he works as a make-up artist for music videos, performances, theater, dance and the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.
He Taught art at some soles public and ended the experience as a teacher, turned his passion for teaching in independent activity still takes private lessons in drawing, anatomy, painting and art history in his study
The latest project which is currently working on the series “Barbarians”, where humanity is represented without romantic connotations in its current stage of evolution, still “primitive and childish.” In accordance with the commitment that aims at a renewed reality and sincerity of expression. Where the artist becomes a cynical narrator of what he is forced to see.
“I’d necessarily consider my latest works, such as the increasingly powerful weapons and sharp, rather than relegating them to the role of expressive forms that give pleasure to the observer only”

He published the monthly “School of Comics” (2004), for the magazine “Par level playing field” (2004) and “Pulp books” (2005).
He has collaborated with the study “Inventory” by Giuseppe Palumbo creating illustrations for scholarly publishing (Publisher Hats, Freeman) (2004-2006).
Published: the illustrated book “Materials on the edge of a journey” Double Shot 2008, a comic book for the book collective “Protected range” Double Shot 2009.
He has participated in several group exhibitions of contemporary art, including “appears when it can” Citadel of Museums, Cagliari 2000.
Since 2003 he has been the study of decoration “Artemisiarestauro” in Florence, for the creation of paintings and watercolors.
Since 2005 he teaches “Techniques ink” under the direction of Marco Bianchini the “International School of Comics” in Florence.

Andrea Colombu born in Cagliari in 1973 where he lives and works.
He studied initially at Cagliari, but in the mid-90s, he moved to Perugia, where he attended the Academy of Fine Arts Peter Vannuci.
The initial work of that decade, and the initial themes that characterize them are strongly influenced by cultural and artistic influence of gestural painting Italian.
