METROSTORIE AD OGNI FERMATA. TEATRO E BURATTINI SULLA METROCAGLIARI – 5-6 GIUGNOMETROSTORIE AT EACH STOP. THEATRE AND PUPPETS ON METROCAGLIARI – JUNE 5th and 6th

Teatro d’animazione in movimento, tra Cagliari e Monserrato, su un originale palcoscenico: i tram della Metropolitana Leggera. Mercoledì 5 giugno e giovedì 6 giugno, dalle 18 alle 20.30,  lungo il percorso di Metrocagliari vanno in scena le “Metrostorie ad ogni fermata”.

Le due serate fanno parte del programma di MOMOTI: un teatro, un burattino e la città, progetto della Compagnia Is Mascareddas, Arcoiris Onlus e Larus Onlus sostenuto dalla Fondazione CON IL SUD attraverso il “Bando Storico, Artistico e Culturale 2011”. L’iniziativa, realizzata dai partner del Progetto MOMOTI in collaborazione con l’azienda Arst SpA, mira a sensibilizzare i passeggeri della metropolitana sulle specificità del territorio attraversato dalla linea urbana di superficie e sul valore del mezzo di trasporto pubblico come soluzione per una mobilità ecologica e sostenibile (perché elettrica e a basso impatto ambientale), ed economica. L’intervento teatrale è anche l’occasione per avvicinare con un’esperienza condivisa le due popolazioni di Cagliari e Monserrato, ma anche più generazioni, dai giovani agli anziani, più comunità etniche, lavoratori e studenti autoctoni ed immigrati, che quotidianamente si incontrano nei tram della metro.

Nel doppio appuntamento i burattinai de Is Mascareddas Tonino Murru e Mimmo Ferrari danno vita al pupazzo Cristoforo, che deve il suo nome al patrono dei viaggiatori e dei ferrovieri (San Cristoforo, appunto). Il trio è protagonista di una serie di sketch teatrali in corrispondenza delle nove fermate, da un capolinea all’altro, lungo due viaggi di andata e ritorno. Si parte alle 18 da Cagliari, all’ingresso della stazione in piazza Repubblica, dove Cristoforo “avvisa” il pubblico dei pendolari in procinto di partire.  Il personaggio in gommapiuma spiega ai passeggeri della metro aneddoti storici sulle vie in cui sono ubicate le stazioni e indica loro la presenza di luoghi di interesse culturale e identitario, come, ad esempio, la Cantina Sociale di Monserrato (a pochi passi dalla fermata Caracalla) e il Museo delle Ferrovie (al capolinea San Gottardo).

Theater of animation moving, between Cagliari and Montserrat, on an original stage: the light-rail trams. Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6, from 18 to 20.30, along the path of Metrocagliari are staged the “Metrostorie at every stop.”

The two evenings are part of the program Momoti: a theater, a puppet and the city, a project of the Society Is Mascareddas, Arcoiris Onlus and Larus non-profit organization supported by the Foundation WITH THE SOUTH through the “Call Historic, Artistic and Cultural, 2011″. The initiative, created by the partners of the project in collaboration with the company Momoti Arst SpA, aims to raise awareness subway passengers on the specificities of the territory crossed by the urban surface and the value of public transportation as a solution for environmentally friendly mobility and sustainable (because power and low environmental impact), and economic. The operation theater is also an opportunity to bring the two populations with a shared experience of Cagliari and Montserrat, but also several generations, from young to old, most ethnic communities, workers and indigenous students and immigrants who daily meet in Metro tram.

In the doubles event of the puppeteers Is Mascareddas Tonino Murru Mimmo Ferrari and give life to the puppet Christopher, which owes its name to the patron saint of travelers and railroad workers (St. Christopher, in fact). The trio is the protagonist of a series of theater sketches in correspondence of the nine stops, a terminus to another, along two trips there and back. It starts at 18 from Cagliari, at the entrance of the station in Republic Square, where Christopher “warn” the public commuter about to leave. The foam character explains to the passengers of the metro historical anecdotes about the ways in which they are located stations and indicates the presence of their places of cultural interest and identity, such as, for example, the Cantina Sociale of Montserrat (just a few steps away from the Caracalla) and the Museum of Railways (the terminus Gotthard).
