Dal 12 al 13 luglio, Samassi sarà investita da una carica di sostenibilità e creatività con il Festival “Med in Art”, letteralmente Mediocampidano in Arte, ma più in generale da “medio” (“che sta al centro”).

Un festival che nasce per valorizzare non solo il territorio samassese ma anche la commistione di arti, ideato e progettato dall’associazione culturale Terranzena, sotto la direzione artistica del saxofonista Emanuele Contis, e promosso dal Comune di Samassi, dalla proloco, dal Lavoratorio ventiundici e da Oubliette Magazine.

“Med in Art” invaderà le strade del paese, gli spazi urbani saranno ri-arredati grazie all’utilizzo di materiali locali, riciclabili ed ad impatto ambientale zero. L’uso di installazioni, di proiezioni, e di illuminamento, avranno lo scopo di dare una “veste” nuova ed una nuova luce a luoghi che da anni sono considerati in modo unilaterale.

Si creerà, in questo modo, una passerella nella quale saranno organizzati concerti, degustazioni, installazioni di fotografia e di pittura, proiezioni video, live painting, giocolerie, baby parcking, utilizzo della terra, riciclo, scoperta di antichi giochi e tanto altro. La piazza centrale delle attività sarà Piazza Italia, nella quale si svolgeranno anche reading, workshop, dibattiti, ed aperitivi culturali.

Tutti i concerti e gli spettacoli si svolgeranno senza un palco ma semplicemente sul suolo pubblico con l’ausilio di piccoli service audio.

Sarà proiettata una selezione di cortometraggi dallo Skpeto International Film Festival che ogni anno si presenta a Cagliari nel mese di aprile riuscendo a convogliare migliaia di spettatori.

Di notevole interesse sarà la performance degli ospiti d’onore come Mogol, Jacopo Cullin, Beppe Dettori, La Contrabbanda, Ditta Vigliacci, od ancora le evoluzioni del Parkour, una disciplina metropolitana nata in Francia che consiste nel seguire un percorso superando ogni ostacolo. Presente il Lavoratorioventiundici con le sue proposte di miglioramento della vita delle persone grazie alla condivisione di ideali e valori.

Dalla mattina alla notte “Med in Art” ci intratterrà con eventi gratuiti e liberi. La mattina del sabato ci saranno lezioni di musica e cinema offerte dai protagonisti del Festival.

Gli artisti coinvolti nel Festival sono:

Emanuele Contis: sassofonista jazz e direttore artistico del festival;
Mogol: con lo spettacolo “Mogol si racconta…” viaggio nella storia della musica italiana;
Beppe Dettori: ex cantante dei Tazenda;
Alessandro Spedicati (Diablo): voce dei Sikitikis;
Jacopo Cullin: attore di teatro e cinema, regista;
FBI Band: tra i migliori musicisti del panorama isolano;
Ditta Vigliacci: specializzata nel affrontare le avversità dell’inaspettato ed in molteplici discipline di circo nuovo, vecchio e contemporaneo;
Andrea Granitzio: musicista e compositore;
La Contrabbanda: un carosello di canzoni d’autore dagli anni ’50 ad oggi;
Snake_Platform: orchestra di improvvisazione e composizione istantanea diretta da Daniele Ledda;
Giuseppe Carta: poeta di Cagliari con le sue Visioni dal periscopio emozionale;
Andrea Muscas: cantante dei Collegium;
Aurora Lecis: giovane e promettente talento di Samassi;

e tantissimi altri ospiti tra giocolieri, registi, compositori, attori e musicisti per le varie jam session che si svilupperanno per le strade della città.

Lo spazio sarà circoscritto e tutte le installazioni verranno rigorosamente rimosse e non lasceranno traccia al termine del Festival. Dunque non perdetevi la possibilità di assistere alla trasformazione di Samassi in un centro di mescolanza tra presente e tradizione nel quale partecipano a pieno titolo arte, sostenibilità e cibo.From July 12 to 13, Samassi will be invested by a charge of sustainability and creativity with the Festival “Art in the Med”, literally Mediocampidano in Art, but more generally as “medium” (“that is at the center”).

A festival that was created to promote not only the territory Samassi but also the mix of arts, conceived and designed by the cultural Terranzena, under the artistic direction of saxophonist Emanuele Contis, and sponsored by the City of Samassi from proloco from CareerBuilder ventiundici and by Oubliette Magazine.

“Med in Art” will invade the streets of the country, urban areas will be re-furnished through the use of local materials, recyclable and with zero environmental impact. The use of installations, screenings, and lighting, will aim to give a “look” new and a new light to places that for years have been considered in a unilateral way.

It will create, in this way, a walkway which will be organized concerts, wine tastings, installations, photography and painting, video projections, live painting, juggling, baby parcking, land use, recycling, re-discovery of ancient games and much more. The central square of the activities will Piazza Italy, which will also take readings, workshops, debates, cultural and aperitifs.

All concerts and performances will take place without a stage, but simply on public land with the help of small audio service.

Will screen a selection of short films from Skpeto International Film Festival which each year is presented in Cagliari in April managing to convey thousands of spectators.

Of particular interest will be the performance of the guests of honor as Mogol, Jacopo Cullin, Beppe Dettori, The Contrabbanda, Vigliacci company, or even the evolution of Parkour, a discipline born in metropolitan France, which is to follow a path overcoming every obstacle. Present the Lavoratorioventiundici with its proposals for improving the lives of people through the sharing of ideals and values.

From morning to night, “Med in Art” will entertain us with free events and free. On Saturday morning there will be lessons in music and cinema offered by the protagonists of the Festival.

The artists involved in the festival are:

Emanuele Contis: jazz saxophonist and artistic director of the festival;
Mogul: with the show “Mogul said …” journey through the history of Italian music;
Beppe Dettori: former lead singer of Tazenda;
Alessandro Spedicati (Diablo): voice of Sikitikis;
Jacopo Cullin: theater and film actor, director;
FBI Band: among the best musicians of the island;
Vigliacci company: specializing in the face of adversity and unexpected in many disciplines of circus new, old and contemporary;
Andrea Granitzio: musician and composer;
The Contrabbanda: a carousel of original songs from the ’50s to today;
Snake_Platform: improvisation and instant composition concert conducted by Daniele Ledda;
Giuseppe Carta: poet of Cagliari, with its emotional Visions from the periscope;
Andrea Muscas: lead singer of the Collegium;
Aurora Lecis: young and promising talent Samassi;

and many other guests including jugglers, directors, composers, actors and musicians for the various jam sessions that will grow in the streets of the city.

The space will be limited and all installations will be rigorously removed, leaving no trace at the end of the Festival. So do not miss the chance to witness the transformation of Samassi in the center of a mix between the present and tradition in which participate fully in art, sustainability and food.
