Venerdì 17 gennaio il progetto “Arte 52” prende il via con la mostra “Materia Pittorica” dell’artista Angelino Balistreri . Questa mostra, facendo luce su alcuni aspetti significativi del suo percorso, porta all’attenzione alcune opere, pitture e sculture, che partendo dalle prime sperimentazioni astratto-informali della fine degli anni Quaranta e Cinquanta arrivano alla sintesi formale di massima essenzialità delle opere degli anni Settanta.
L’azione artistica di Balistreri ha percorso con esiti notevoli molte strade, il suo spirito inquieto ha rielaborato un’ampia gamma di spunti stilistici del moderno, manifestando, con rara sensibilità, una coraggiosa sperimentazione tecnica e materica che rivela una versatilità eclettica straordinaria.
Quasi tutti i suoi lavori sembrano avere origine da un’energia ancestrale che affonda le radici nella travagliata stratificazione della sua vita.
La mostra “Materia pittorica sarà visitabile presso il Museo Naturalistico del Territorio “G.Pusceddu” dal 17 gennaio al 17 febbraio 2014.

Il Progetto Arte 52 risponde ad una domanda del Museo del Territorio Sa Corona Arrubia che si interroga sull’alto livello degli artisti presenti in Sardegna in rapporto alla difficoltà di affermarsi in quanto tali nell’immaginario collettivo, sul valore del loro operato amorevole, capillare, caparbio nel territorio di appartenenza in rapporto ad un non corrispettivo interesse nei loro confronti.
Capire le ragioni di questo fenomeno e per contro, al contempo, contribuire a promuovere e diffondere la conoscenza del loro operato è nelle corde di questo progetto. Non per questo il Museo intende porsi quale arbitro delle correnti artistiche isolane, né vuole fare critica d’arte, cerca soltanto dare spazio e visibilità a nuove e diverse idee creative e modi di concepire l’Arte in Sardegna oggi, facendo, nel suo piccolo una fotografia dell’esistente che troverà spazio in un catalogo d’arte.
Ciascun Artista si avvarrà di un proprio critico d’arte personale al fine di valorizzare il “Progetto d’Arte” presentato al Museo per dar conto dello spessore delle opere e dell’autore, di quello che è ed è stato il suo ruolo culturale in ambito locale, in ambito regionale ed il suo percorso artistico, che possibilmente dovrà avere un respiro internazionale.
L’operazione culturale, molto impegnativa da punto di vista organizzativo, consiste nella realizzazione di 52 mostre d’arte in un anno, una alla settimana della durata un mese. I padiglioni espositi del Museo verranno divisi in 5 sezioni, pertanto i visitatori potranno vedere contemporaneamente 5 mostre d’arte diverse.
Con il Progetto Arte 52 il Museo del Territorio, secondo la sua mission statutaria, intende creare un ponte tra il Museo del Territorio e i vari Comuni e territori della Sardegna tramite il medium dell’Arte. Gli artisti selezionati dovranno essere sentiti dal Comune di appartenenza come dei punti di riferimento dell’Arte nel territorio che, per affinità intellettiva o per contrasto, li ha individuati come gli “artisti del luogo”. Per questo motivo è indispensabile che il giorno dell’inaugurazione vi sia la presenza di un rappresentante istituzionale del Comune di residenza, perché l’Artista, spesso, rimane l’ultimo baluardo del gusto per l’Arte, l’avamposto che difende un sempre più profondo disinteresse al senso estetico della vita.
Gli artisti che esporranno sono sardi, volutamente appartenenti a diverse generazioni, e attualmente operanti nel territorio regionale anche se residenti in Italia o all’estero. Sono stati selezionati dal Direttore del Museo e dal Comitato Scientifico interno al Consorzio Turistico tenendo conto dell’originalità del “Progetto d’arte” presentato, del loro curriculum professionale, ma soprattutto dell’impegno che negli anni hanno profuso e continuano a profondere per la diffusione dell’Arte.Friday, January 17th the project “Art 52″ kicks off with the exhibition ” Matter of Painting ” by artist Angelino Balistreri . The artistic action of Balistreri has traveled many roads with remarkable results , his restless spirit has reworked a wide range of styling cues of the modern, manifesting, with rare sensitivity , a bold technical experimentation and material that reveals an eclectic extraordinary versatility .
Almost all his works seem to have originated from ancestral energy that has its roots in the troubled layering of his life.
The exhibition ” Matter painting will be open at the Museum of Natural Territory ” G.Pusceddu ” from 17 January to 17 February 2014.

52 The Art Project responds to a question from the Museum of the Territory Sa Corona Arrubia that questions on the high level of the artists featured in Sardinia in relation to the difficulty to establish itself as such in the collective imagination , the value of loving their work , capillary , stubborn in the territory of belonging in relation to a non- fee interest in them .

Each artist will draw their own art critic personnel in order to enhance the ” Art Project “, presented to the Museum to account for the thickness of the works and the author of what is and has been its role in cultural local, regional and in his artistic career , which possibly will have an international flavor .
The cultural operation , very challenging from an organizational perspective , involves the construction of 52 art exhibitions a year, lasting a week to a month. The halls of the Museum Espositi will be divided into 5 sections , so readers will be able to simultaneously see 5 different art exhibitions .
With the Project 52 Art Museum of the Territory, in accordance with its statutory mission , aims to create a bridge between the Museum of the Territory and the various towns and areas of Sardinia through the medium of art. The selected artists will be heard by the City of belonging as points of reference in the area of art that , for intellectual affinity or contrast , identified them as “artists of the place .” For this reason it is essential that the opening day will be the presence of a representative of the City of residence , because the artist often remains the last bastion of taste for the arts , the outpost defending an increasingly most profound indifference to the aesthetic sense of life.
The artists exhibiting are Sardinians, deliberately belonging to different generations , and currently operating in the region even if resident in Italy or abroad. They were selected by the Museum Director and the Scientific Committee inside the Tourist Board taking into account the originality of the ” art project ” presented , their employment history, but above all the commitment that over the years have made ​​and will continue to lavish on the spread of Art .
