Cici Peis
Cici Peis nasce a Guspini (CA) nel 195151 e vive ed opera ad Alghero.
Coltiva la passione, il gusto e l’interesse per la pittura sin da bambino, e pur non avendo mai fatto corsi di studio specifici, è un autodidatta, riceve riconoscimenti e premi partecipando a mostre e concorsi d’arte.
I quadri di Cici Peis sono una piccola camera delle meraviglie che racchiude sogni, sguardi, scene di vita quotidiana, storie sentite e storie vissute e costituiscono i vari tasselli di una narrazione vitale con il potere di toccare e arricchire la sensibilità di chi le incontra.
Ha realizzato, in collaborazione con la Fondazione Renzo Laconi(Alghero) , Sassetti Cultura, L’Isola d’Arte(Milano) una rassegna antologica intitolata “La mia Sardegna” e le sue opere fanno parte di numerose collezioni in Italia e all’estero.
*Ha collaborato con i propri dipinti ad illustrare poesie e racconti nei libri “Montevecchio” e “Gente di miniera” di Iride Peis Concas.

Alessandro Pintus
Nato a Sassari nel 1970, si dedica alla pittura dal 1988 dopo aver visto i lavori di Giorgio De Chirico. Dopo un primo periodo di forte influenza metafisica sul finire del 1989 crea il suo personale linguaggio pittorico caratterizzato dalla presenza di “macchie” pittoriche su sfondi monocromatici dando origine ad un nuovo modulo espressivo che chiama “Quantismo”.
Negli anni il linguaggio pittorico viene affinato con il perfezionamento e l’evoluzione dei limiti dei “quanti percettivi” così come nella variazione degli sfondi che arrivando alla tela grezza rendono pienamente la sostanza di fondo dell’universo , l’ineluttabile realtà al di fuori del controllo umano nella quale si deve operare, una sorta di forza di gravità sensoriale che di contro ci restituisce tutta la potenza cromatica del bianco.
Attualmente il suo lavoro si sta concentrando sulla valorizzazione e sulla traduzione, in un linguaggio pittorico contemporaneo, degli elementi distintivi della cultura sarda a partire dalle tessiture e dagli intrecci, fino alle maschere ed ai costumi tradizionali.Alghero, Torre San Giovanni

Cici Peis
Cici Peis was born in Guspini (CA) in 195151 and lives and works in Alghero.
Nurture passion, taste and interest in painting since childhood, and despite never having made specific courses of study, is a self-taught, he received awards and prizes by participating in exhibitions and art competitions.
The paintings of Cici Peis are a small cabinet of curiosities that contains dreams, looks, scenes of everyday life, and life stories and stories heard are the various pieces of a narrative life with the power to touch and enrich the sensitivity of the encounters.
He, in collaboration with the Fondazione Renzo Laconi (Alghero), Sassetti Cultura, The Island of Art (Milan), a retrospective exhibition entitled “My Sardinia” and his works are represented in numerous collections in Italy and abroad .
* Has worked with its paintings to illustrate poems and stories in the books “Montevecchio” and “People of Mine” by Iris Peis Concas.

Alessandro Pintus
Born in Sassari in 1970, he devoted himself to painting since 1988 after seeing the work of Giorgio De Chirico. After an initial period of strong influence of metaphysics at the end of 1989 he created his personal pictorial language characterized by the presence of “spots” paintings of monochromatic backgrounds giving rise to a new form of expression he calls “Quantismo.”
Over the years the pictorial language is refined with the refinement and evolution of the limitations of “how many perceptual” as well as in the variation of the backgrounds that make coming to the raw canvas fully the underlying substance of the universe, the inescapable reality outside of human control in which it must operate, a kind of force of gravity sensory of against us returns all the power of the color white.
Her current work is focusing on the development and translation in a contemporary pictorial language, their distinctive culture of Sardinia starting from the textures and weaves, up to masks and traditional costumes.
