Nell’ambito della settima edizione della rassegna musicale itinerante “Mare e Miniere” , l’Associazione Elenaledda vox organizza i Seminari di Musica, Canto e Danza popolare.
Si svolgeranno nei giorni 24, 25, 26,27 luglio 2014 nel comune di Gonnesa, presso l’Edificio Scolastico Giorgio Asproni – monumento storico risalente ai primi del ’900.
Gonnesa, a 65 km da Cagliari, con i suoi circa cinquemila abitanti è il cuore di un territorio che offre non solo incantevole mare e spiagge incontaminate di rara bellezza caratterizzate da dune di bianchissima sabbia, ma anche flora e fauna del tutto singolari per l’ invidiabile presenza del falco pellegrino e del falco della regina, affascinanti villaggi minerari dismessi immersi in verdi colline sulle quali passeggiare, andare in bici o a cavallo, importantissimi siti archeologici, domus de janas, complessi nuragici, e tanti altri luoghi di rilevante interesse: tra questi l’ex villaggio minerario Normann immerso nel bosco e ancora oggi abitato, e la grotta di S. Barbara, una delle più grandi e suggestive d’Europa, meraviglioso e ancora intatto gioiello naturale.
I seminari rappresenteranno per i corsisti un’occasione unica per vivere intensamente quattro giornate di studio e vacanza tra musica, cultura e straordinarie bellezze naturali.

I CORSI

ORGANETTO DIATONICO
Docente: Riccardo Riccardo Tesi

Il corso intende mettere in evidenza gli aspetti che caratterizzano la pratica odierna dell’organetto diatonico.
Attraverso la proposta di brani tradizionali e originali, verranno presi in esame problemi sia di natura tecnica (uso del mantice, tecnica lineare e incrociata, diteggiatura, coordinazione ecc.) sia di natura interpretativa (ornamentazione, espressione , staccato e legato ecc.). Ampio spazio sarà dedicato all’aspetto armonico e compositivo dello strumento e al suo utilizzo in contesti non tradizionali.
Lo stage è indirizzato a strumentisti che siano già in possesso della tecnica di base. Non è richiesta la conoscenza della teoria musicale.
Modello consigliato : otto bassi in SOL/DO o i modelli superiori.
Meglio se dotati di apparecchiature per registrare.

CANTO POPOLARE
Docenti: Elena Ledda – Simonetta Soro

Il corso illustrerà come ottimizzare l’uso dell’apparato fonatorio per parlare, recitare e cantare. Sarà messo in evidenza come l’emissione e la pronuncia di ogni singolo suono contribuiscano alla formazione della parola e come quest’ultima a sua volta si liberi divenendo musica e canto. Saranno presi in esame: controllo della respirazione, qualità vocali, impostazione ed emissione classica e popolare, tecnica polivocale del canto popolare, con particolare attenzione a quello sardo.

ESECUZIONE E COSTRUZIONE FLAUTI DI CANNE O PASTORALI (friscaletto siciliano e sulitu) Docente: Pietro Cernuto

Chiamato flauto di canna, friscaletto, zufolo, farauto, strumento virtuosistico per eccellenza da sempre legato alla danza popolare, il friscaletto siciliano, anche grazie alle sue notevoli capacità espressive determinate dal buon vibrato e all’ ottima qualità timbrica, si coniuga perfettamente anche con altri generi quali la musica classica, la new age, il pop.
Il corso intende far conoscere ed apprezzare le straordinarie qualità e le molteplici possibilità di questo strumento, per lunghi anni trascurato o talvolta proposto al pubblico in maniera non appropriata.
Il friscaletto verrà dapprima presentato da un punto di vista teorico: si parlerà della sua storia, della materia prima utilizzata per la sua costruzione e verranno spiegate alcune fasi relative alla costruzione stessa. I corsisti inizieranno quindi l’ incontro diretto e personale con lo strumento attraverso una serie di esercizi, di varia difficoltà, studiati appositamente dal docente in relazione al livello di competenza e apprendimento di ciascuno di essi. Si faranno inoltre comparazioni con su sulitu, il flauto pastorale sardo.
Oltre alle tecniche di esecuzione, il docente metterà in risalto le varie modalità di interpretazione in riferimento ai differenti generi musicali.

BALLO SARDO
Docente: Giuseppe Molinu

“Dalla piazza alle piazze: il ballo sardo nella contemporaneità”: questo il cammino che cercheremo di percorrere nei quattro giorni di Seminario; pratiche di ballo che hanno valicato i singoli confini delle comunità e che s’inseriscono in una realtà, quella delle piazze, in continuo fermento ed evoluzione. Un momento d’incontro, di considerazioni, di scambio culturale in cui ci misureremo con la pratica coreutica di alcuni balli isolani il cui filo conduttore vorrà essere il piacere o se preferite la passione di provare a dare sensi e misure a su passu campidanesu, a su passu torrau, a su dillu, a sa dantza, a sa “logudoresa” e a su ballu tundu.

BANDONEON
Docente: Fabio Fabio Furia

Il corso è rivolto a tutti gli allievi interessati all’apprendimento del bandoneon. Non è pertanto richiesto alcun livello minimo di conoscenza dello strumento, ma esclusivamente la conoscenza degli elementi di teoria musicale di base. L’obiettivo principale è quello di fornire all’allievo i primi elementi conoscitivi e pratici legati allo studio del bandoneon e del tango. Verranno trasmesse le prime nozioni legate alla fisica dello strumento, gli elementi di cui si compone ed il suo funzionamento meccanico. Verrà inoltre illustrata la disposizione delle note nelle due tastiere ed i vari sistemi esistenti (sistema argentino, sistema francese, sistema italiano etc), favorendo l’apprendimento dell’impostazione corretta dell’uso dello strumento e del mantice, con particolare attenzione alla postura ed alle diverse posizioni in uso per l’esecuzione. Verranno infine forniti alcuni elementi di base di prassi esecutiva del tango.

PERCUSSIONI (tamburello e tammorra) E DANZE POPOLARI
Docente: Nando Citarella

Il laboratorio propone le voci, i ritmi e le danze della tradizione popolare del sud Italia e dell’area mediterranea; suoni e ritmi scaturiti, viaggiando da un punto all’altro del mare, dall’ incontro tra la cultura Arabo-Andalusa e quella della nostra penisola: dalla Tammurriata vesuviana e dell’agro nocerino alla Tarantella carnascialesca di Montemarano, dal Saltarello laziale alla Pizzica Tarantata, dalla Moresca ai ritmi e alle danze processionali, dove gestualità, rappresentazione e ritualità ancora oggi scandiscono il tempo della Festa, spesso accompagnata da elementi di sacralità e magia. Ritmi, danze e gestualità che rimandano a riti arcaici ed ancestrali, onirici, magici, ma potentemente vivi e attuali.

( Elementary School ” George Asproni ” )

As part of the seventh edition of the itinerant music festival “Sea and Mines ” , the Association organizes seminars Elenaledda vox Music, Singing and Dancing People .
Will be held on 24, 25, 26,27 July 2014 in the town of Gonnesa , at the George School Building Asproni – historical monument dating back to the 900 .
Gonnesa , 65 km from Cagliari , with its five thousand inhabitants, is the heart of an area that not only offers beautiful sea and pristine beaches of rare beauty characterized by dunes of white sand, but also flora and fauna of all singular for ‘ enviable presence of the peregrine falcon and the falcon of the queen, charming villages abandoned mining immersed in the green hills on which to walk , ride a bike or horse , important archaeological sites , domus de Janas, nuragici complex , and many other places of great interest , among them Normann former mining village nestled in the woods and still inhabited , and the cave of Santa Barbara , one of the largest and most attractive in Europe, beautiful and untouched natural jewel .
The seminars will represent a unique opportunity for the students to experience four days of intense study and holiday music, culture and stunning natural beauty.

COURSES

ORGANETTO DIATONICO
Professor Riccardo Riccardo Tesi

The course aims to highlight the aspects that characterize the practice today the diatonic accordion .
Through the proposed traditional and original songs , will be examined problems both of a technical nature (use of bellows, linear technology and cross- fingering, coordination etc.). Both interpretive nature ( ornamentation , expression, staccato and legato etc. . ) . Ample space will be dedicated harmonic and compositional aspect of the tool and its use in non-traditional .
The workshop is aimed at musicians who are already in possession of the basic technique. Is not required knowledge of music theory .
Recommended Model : Eight lower in G / C or higher models .
Better if equipped with devices for recording .

FOLKSONG
Teachers: Elena Ledda – Simonetta Soro

The course will illustrate how to optimize the use of the phonatory to speak, act and sing . It will be shown that the emission and the pronunciation of each sound contribute to the formation of the word and how this in turn is becoming free music and singing. They will be examined : control of breathing , vocal quality , and setting emission classical and popular technique of polyphonic folk singing , with particular attention to the Sardinian.

EXECUTION AND CONSTRUCTION OF FLUTES RODS OR PASTORAL ( friscaletto Sicilian and sulitu ) Teacher: Peter Cernuto

Called reed flute , friscaletto , flageolet , farauto , virtuoso instrument par excellence has always been linked to the folk dance , the Sicilian friscaletto , thanks to its remarkable powers of expression determined by good vibrato and all ‘ good sound quality , it combines perfectly with other genres such as classical music , new age, pop.
The course aims to know and appreciate the extraordinary qualities and the various possibilities of this tool, or neglected for many years sometimes offered to the public in an inappropriate way .
The friscaletto will first be presented by a theoretical point of view : we will talk about its history, the raw material used for its construction and will be explained in some phases of the construction itself. The students then begin the ‘ direct and personal encounter with the instrument through a series of exercises of varying difficulty , specially designed by the teacher in relation to the level of expertise and learning from each of them. It will also comparisons with sulitu of the Sardinian pastoral flute .
In addition to performance techniques , the teacher will highlight the various modes of interpretation in relation to the different genres of music.

DANCE Sardo
Instructor: Joseph Molinu

” From the square to the squares : the Sardinian dance in the contemporary world “: this is the path that we will go over the four days of the Seminar ; dance practices that have crossed the boundaries of communities and individuals that are inserted into a reality, one of the squares , ever changing and evolving. A moment of encounter, considerations of cultural exchange in which we will measure with the practice of some choral dances islanders whose thread wants to be like or if you prefer the passion to try to give meaning and measures of campidanesu passu in on torrau passu in on dillu , Dantza to know , to know ” logudoresa ” and on ballu tundu .

BANDONEON
Professor: Fabio Fabio Fury

The course is open to all students interested in learning the bandoneon . It is therefore not require any minimum level of knowledge of the instrument , but only the knowledge of the elements of basic music theory . The main objective is to provide the student the first elements of knowledge and practice related to the study of the bandoneon and the tango . Will be transmitted to the basics related to the physics of the instrument , the elements of which it is composed , and its mechanical operation . It will also shows the arrangement of notes in the two manuals and various existing systems ( the Argentine system , the French system , the Italian system , etc) , facilitating the learning of the correct use of the instrument of the bellows , with particular attention to posture and the different positions used for execution. Consideration will be given some basic elements of performance practice of tango.

PERCUSSION ( tambourine and tammorra ) AND FOLK DANCES
Teacher: Nando Citarella

The laboratory offers the voices, rhythms and dances of the folk tradition of southern Italy and the Mediterranean ; sounds and rhythms arising , traveling from one point to another of the sea , from ‘ meeting of the Arab- Andalusian culture and that of our country : the Vesuvian Tammurriata and Agro Nocerino to Tarantella carnival Montemarano , saltarello from Lazio to Pizzica Taranta , from Moorish to the rhythms and dances processional , where gestures, rituals and representation still mark the time of the Feast , often accompanied by elements of sacredness and magic. Rhythms , dances and gestures that refer to archaic rituals and ancestral dream , magic , but powerfully alive and current.
