L’intensa vocalità mozzafiato della giovanissima cantante ogliastrina Manuela Mameli, questo sabato, incollerà tutti quanti ai tavoli del nuovo “Papaveri & Papere”, con quella azzeccata e stuzzicante combinazione in chiave acustica fatta di avvolgenti armonie dal mondo del jazz, frizzanti divagazioni blues e incursioni in regioni del pop e della folk music che nascondono tesori spesso ancora non esplorati a dovere, stuzzicante combinazione con cui, insieme al navigato chitarrista Rubens Massidda, suo collega al Conservatorio Jazz, la talentuosa e versatile vocalist ha conquistato i locali della vita notturna cagliaritana nella trascorsa stagione invernale.
Per questa speciale occasione estiva nella spettacolare cornice della spiaggia di Tancau a Santa Maria Navarrese, l’esibizione sarà arricchita dal brillante apporto del sax tenore di Alessandro Angiolini, professionista di ultraventennale esperienza, per una piacevole serata di musica dal vivo, davanti allo splendido mare dell’Ogliastra.

Manuela Mameli studia canto jazz al Conservatorio di Cagliari e, benché giovanissima, ha all’attivo oltre dieci anni sui palchi di tutta l’isola e un’esperienza di diversi mesi in Svezia durante la quale è stata selezionata anche da una web radio di Los Angeles grazie ad alcuni video musicali. Molto apprezzata nel circuito dei locali cagliaritani, gode ormai di una certa notorietà sia nell’ambiente jazz sia in quello della musica tradizionale sarda, che l’ha resa, nella stagione in corso, protagonista di un tour di spettacoli di musica ethno-pop incentrati sulle sue calde interpretazioni. Ha partecipato al Jazz Expo ed è stata più volte ospitata e intervistata sui media locali, tra cui la trasmissione “Anninnora”di Sardegna Uno dove si è esibita con un suo brano inedito.

Rubens Massidda studia chitarra classica con il maestro Massimo Ferra. Oltre ad aver frequentato diversi seminari e master class come quello di Nuoro Jazz, attualmente è iscritto al corso di laurea in chitarra jazz del conservatorio di Cagliari. Durante la sua ultradecennale carriera si è cimentato nei più diversi generi musicali quali il Pop, il Rock, il Blues, il Funk e il Folk. Ha partecipato, tra gli altri al Jazz Expo, il festival di musica sarda di Sestu, l’underground blues festival, Woman In Action, rassegna musica e arte svoltasi al museo Arca del Tempo a Settimo e altri.

Alessandro Angiolini, diplomato all’Università della Musica di Roma sotto la guida del maestro Sandro Satta, studia il sax fin dal 1986. Ha frequentato i seminari di Nuoro Jazz tenuti da Paolo Fresu, con il docente Tino Tracanna, nonché numerosi altri seminari di formazione con Franco D’Andrea, Steve Grossman, Steve lacy, John Taylor, Michele Bozza, Alessandro Diliberto, e la masterclass col celebre launeddista Luigi lai. Dal 1993 ha suonato in diversi spettacoli e rassegne quali: Santannarresijazz, festival Internazionale “Le vie Dixieland”, Molo Ichnusa Sardinia Interfestival, Festival Cultura e Spettacolo Filo D’Arianna a Belluno, la Rassegna “Campana e Sonus”, Concerto per Fabrizio De Andrè a Tempio Pausania (SS). Dal 2002 si è esibito in vari Club a Milano con autorevoli musicisti locali. Attualmente suona in diverse formazioni tra cui la Rural Electrification Orchestra.MANUELA MAMELI TRIO feat. The intense vocal breathtaking young singer ogliastrina Manuela Mameli, this Saturday, will paste all of the tables in the new “Poppies & Ducks”, with the apt and tantalizing combination in acoustic made of enveloping harmonies from the world of jazz, blues and sparkling digressions incursions into areas of pop and folk music that often hide treasures still not explored properly, flirty combination with which, together with guitarist sailed Massidda Rubens, his colleague at the Conservatory Jazz, the talented and versatile vocalist has won the nightlife Cagliari spent in the winter season.
For this special occasion summer in the spectacular setting of Tancau beach in Santa Maria Navarrese, the exhibition will be enriched by the contribution of the brilliant tenor Alessandro Angiolini, twenty years of professional experience, for an evening of live music and admire the sea dell’Ogliastra.

Manuela Mameli studied jazz singing at the Conservatory of Cagliari and, although young, has assets over ten years on stages all over the island and experience of several months in Sweden during which she was also selected to be a web radio in Los Angeles thanks to some music videos. Very popular in the club circuit Cagliari, now enjoys a certain reputation both in the jazz and in that of traditional Sardinian music, which has made it, in the current season, the protagonist of a tour of ethno-pop music shows focused hot on his interpretations. He participated in the Jazz Expo and has been interviewed several times and hosted the local media, including the TV show “Anninnora” One of Sardinia where she performed with her new song.

Rubens Massidda studied classical guitar with Maestro Massimo Ferra. In addition to having attended several seminars and master classes as that of Nuoro Jazz, is currently enrolled in the bachelor’s degree in jazz guitar of the Conservatory of Cagliari. During his ten years of career he has experimented in many different musical genres such as Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk and Folk. He has participated, among others at the Jazz Expo, the music festival Sardinian Sestu, the underground blues festival, Woman In Action, music and art festival held at the Museum Ark of Time in Settimo and others.

Alessandro Angiolini, a graduate of the University of Music in Rome under the guidance of Sandro Satta, he studied the saxophone since 1986. He attended the Nuoro Jazz Seminars held by Paolo Fresu, Tino Tracanna with the teacher, as well as numerous other training seminars with Franco D’Andrea, Steve Grossman, Steve Lacy, John Taylor, Michele Bozza, Alessandro Diliberto, and master classes with the famous launeddista Luigi lai. Since 1993 he has played in various shows and exhibitions such as: Santannarresijazz, International Festival “The ways Dixieland”, Pier Ichnusa Sardinia Interfestival, Festival Culture and Entertainment Filo D’Arianna in Belluno, the Exhibition “Bell and Sonus”, Concerto for Fabrizio De Andrè to Tempio (SS). Since 2002 he has performed in various clubs in Milan with leading local musicians. He currently plays in different formations including the Rural Electrification Orchestra.
