Il MAN è lieto di annunciare l’inaugurazione della mostra “Manine”, dedicata alle creazioni realizzate all’interno delle attività laboratoriali del museo nel corso degli ultimi dieci anni. Presentati come vere e proprie opere d’arte, con adeguanti standard allestitivi, i lavori – una selezione tra i più intensi e originali conservati negli archivi del dipartimento didattico – saranno visibili fino al 21 aprile 2013 nella project room del museo. In mostra disegni, pitture, collage, sculture in terracotta e ceramica, fotografie e installazioni realizzate tra il 2003 e il 2013 dai più piccoli tra gli artisti del territorio barbaricino e limitrofo, allievi delle scuole materne ed elementari oggi perlopiù studenti degli istituti superiori.
Un viaggio a ritroso nel tempo, che attraverso una serie di “piccoli capolavori” ripercorre la storia e i temi delle principali mostre realizzate al MAN a partire dall’apertura della sua sede attuale, in via Satta 27. Un’occasione unica per i giovani studenti di ritrovare le proprie visioni di bambino e per i loro genitori di rivivere, attraverso una serie di immagini curiose e accattivanti, alcune tappe importanti della loro formazione e della loro crescita.

The MAN is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition “Hands”, dedicated to the creations within the laboratory activities of the museum over the past ten years. Presented as true works of art, with adeguanti standard allestitivi, the works – a selection of the most intense and original kept in the archives of the department teaching – will be visible up to 21 April 2013 in the project room of the museum. The exhibition includes drawings, paintings, collages, sculptures in terracotta and ceramics, photographs and installations created between 2003 and 2013 from the smallest among local artists barbaricino and neighboring pupils in nursery and primary schools today mostly high school students.
A journey back in time, through a series of “little masterpieces” traces the history and themes of the major exhibitions held at MAN since the opening of its current location, in Satta 27. A unique opportunity for young students to find their own visions of children and their parents to relive, through a series of curious images and eye-catching, some important stages of their formation and their growth.
