LIGHTS IN CASTELLO – CAGLIARI – WEDNESDAY AUGUST 29 AT 9:00 PM

“Castle Lights” on stage Wednesday, August 29 from 21.00 to 24.00. Reach the second edition of the event organized by the cultural Castellum Castri and designed by its President, the well-known Sardinian designer Rita Piredda. The event will take place in the walk of the historic district of Cagliari, which will be closed to traffic up to 24.00.

In a white night where history, art and taste become the light of a whole district will be able to make a trip to the most famous culture. Will be three paths guided and free to the public and accessible in 3 different times: 21.00 to 22.00, 23.00.
Will take place in all absolutely contemporary and will:

Path architectural guided by architect Marcello Schirru where you can learn the most striking artistic beauty of the ancient buildings, streets and monuments of Castello, the starting point will be the front of the Cathedral;

the path that starts from the Underground Castle Terrace St. Remy and Cagliari describe the deepest cavity through the stories of Marcello Polastri president of the Cultural Underground Sardinia;

Path cultural anecdotes and popular places to learn about the stories that no history book ever told, that passed down from generation to generation from the oldest families Castle with two different starting points: Porta Cristina and Lion’s Gate, the first led by the President of ‘Cultural Association Aloe Felice, Angelo Pili, the second conducted by the Cultural Island I would like, both assisted by addresses by Professor Paul Amat, Sergio Congia, Count Rodolfo Mori Ubaldini Degli Alberti Lamarmora and writer Rosaria Floris through the haunting verse of his poems tell Cagliari.
