31 Ottobre. Walking tour nel quartiere Villanova in occasione del Trekking Urbano a Cagliari.

Il quartiere Villanova, ultimo e più recente tra i quartieri storici cagliaritani, ha conosciuto un fiorente rinnovamento urbanistico ed artistico che ha interessato piazze, edifici dismessi, strade ed edifici signorili. Tra gli itinerari più insoliti, un curioso percorso ci condurrà dall’ExMà al Parco delle Rimembranze, dalla via Sonnino fino a Piazza Marghinotti, accompagnati da bizzarre figurine che fanno capolino dai muri dei palazzi o dagli angoli delle vie del centro, aprendo lo sguardo verso eleganti edifici Liberty, che ben dialogano con i recenti sviluppi dell’abitato lungo la via Garibaldi e la via Sulis. Il percorso termina nella variopinta Via San Saturnino, che offre uno spettacolo di colori attraverso notevoli esempi di Street Art.

Le visite guidate verranno svolte da guide turistiche professionali ai sensi della Legge Regionale 18 Dicembre 2006 n.20.

The district Villanova, last and most recent of the historic districts of Cagliari, has experienced a thriving artistic and urban renewal that affected squares, abandoned buildings, streets and stately buildings. Amongst the most unusual, a strange path will lead us to dall’ExMà Memorial Park, the route to Piazza Sonnino Marghinotti, accompanied by bizarre figurines that peep out from the walls of the buildings or the corners of the streets of the city, opening his eyes to elegant Art Nouveau buildings that interact well with the recent developments of the town along the via Garibaldi and Via Sulis. The path ends at the colorful Via San Saturnino, offering a spectacle of color through outstanding examples of Street Art.

The tours will be conducted by professional tour guides under the Regional Law 20 of December 18, 2006.
